If Avril goes on tour again, I'll buy two tickets (one for me, and one for a friend), and I'll go to the concert (hopefully front row ). BTW I've never been to a concert in my life, I'd love hers to be my first, so I'm super excited I'm not sure about the M&G, seeing her perform live would already be enough for me I waited 12 years to see Avril live because I wanted her concert to be my first one and it was definitely worth it and made it really special. It was also the week of my 21st birthday and it was the last show of the AL Tour, so it was even more memorable.

I want to go on the front row the next time! I'm really serious about it. I got a really bad spot in the BS Tour and an ok one in the AL Tour, but this time I'm coming for that front row like a Warrior LOL

I missed 3 concerts of hers in Malaysia, TBDT, BST and ALT. I still not a fan during TBDT, so skip that. I missed BST and ALT because I had final exam during both concerts. At first I felt so angry and sad for not attending her concerts twice. But after looking at her performance and the set list, I have no regret. She performed the same setlists again and again. The purpose for touring is to promote latest album but she only sang like 3 or 4 songs out of her new album and the rest were singles from old albums. For AL6 tour, I will look at her setlist first. If it still has the same track like WTH, HTNGU, IAGWIW etc. and just a few new songs, I'm gonna pass.

Every time she came to my country I was there to support her, even though I wasn't a big fan of her Avril Lavigne tour since I was disappointed when I noticed that the setlist was entirely singles and none of her good songs, such as falling fast, hello heartache, you ain't seen nothing yet. Not to mention her previous master pieces like not enough, 4real, darling, one of those girls, contagious, etc. Im not so interested in her physical movements and if she interacts much with the crowd. I would be more than satisfied by only listening to good old and new songs, seeing her playing the piano/the guitar and listening to her amazing vocals as when she toured with the black star tour.

There are many factors involved in this. 1. We don't know if for sure she's even going to do a tour for the 6th album, what with her health and all. I want to say that Avril probably would want to, even if it was just a small tour, because she enjoys performing so much and I'm sure she wants to get back out there as soon as possible. But with the way her health is right now, even though she is getting a LOT better, a tour is questionable right now. It took a lot of effort for her just to perform 1 song at the Special Olympics last year, just standing still behind a mic stand. She's obviously a ton better since then, but an entire 90 minute setlist, touring all over the world, just seems like a huge undertaking right now. She might just release a new EP or album and do some small promo maybe or maybe just release the album with no tour at all. 2. It depends what the show is going to be like. For the last 2 tours now her setlists have been mostly singles and fans have grown bored of that. I did go see her on the AL Tour and it was awesome, but it was also my first time seeing her live. Who knows, maybe if she actually came to my area again I would probably take advantage of it and go again, but if it was going to be an all-singles setlist again with very few new songs, I just don't know if I'd bother. I was lucky the last time because everything just fell in the right place, she came to my state, tickets were cheap, it was a weekend night, and I had someone to go with. If one of those things became a problem for me, like if I had to travel to see her, or it was a weeknight, I probably wouldn't see her. And if the setlist was going to be mostly singles again and not a very exciting show, I probably wouldn't be that interested either. Why see a show I've already seen? For me it really just depends on a lot of factors, like if she even comes to my area (she only came here on TTSMU, TBDT, and AL, so sometimes she skips my state) and if I have someone to go with, tickets aren't outrageously expensive, etc. But if it happened to work out like the last time, I would most likely see her again just because the opportunity doesn't come very often. But I'm happy to have had the chance to see her at least once, so I if I never see her again, I'll be ok with that. At least there's YouTube videos, which isn't anywhere near the same as seeing it in person, but it's the next best thing. But yeah I don't even know if a tour is necessarily going to happen for awhile. Maybe album 7. she could sit on a chair and not stand and no person would blame her if she did that after knowing about her health.

Yes, you're right. It's from 2004 so it's not very current If I remember right she also mentioned something similar in the last era but I don't know where she said that so I've chosen the other quote instead. I remember in an interview during GL at a French radio station they asked her if she still plays her old hits and she said something like "I think it's very important if you've had hits to play them live." She definitely should. I know we're all sick of hearing Complicated, Sk8er Boi, Girlfriend, etc. but an Avril concert wouldn't be complete without them and fans expect to hear those songs (plus they are more fun in person than watching them on YouTube). But now it's probably time to drop the ones that weren't big hits. At the very least I wish that if she insists on playing the old singles she finds some way to make them new again, like when she played Losing Grip acoustic on TBDTour. Britney and Taylor still play lots of their old hits on tour (and they've got way more than Avril does) but they rearrange them to make them sound new. what does it matter for lip-syncing britney as she is not singing them anyway.

She does 90 minute sets? Haha. More like 65-75. She could stretch it out a bit but she doesn't waste much time between songs, for some reason. I may catch an Asian show and I will make sure to again be right up front where I'll stick out like a sore thumb. Maybe I'll get blown a kiss this time.

It was really cool In the 2014 concert, though, she played 18 songs and the concert lasted for 75 min. I hope she'll be in shape to put out 95 minutes concerts again in the near future.

Hardly any artist or band comes up to Alaska and by the time I hear about it, the concert is too close for me to get any tickets or I hear about it after the fact. If she tours next year though, maybe I'll look into saving money for one of her Lower 48 shows as a graduation present. I've been thinking about doing the same for Paramore. Who knows?

I'm pretty much in the exact same boat (minus the Alaska part ). I recently got into Paramore and now I'm planning on going to both concerts
