When Avril starts touring again once she releases her 6th album, what are your plans? Will you go to the concerts? It's still a long way away, but it's always good to plan ahead. Even very far ahead. I'm planning on buying two tickets as soon as possible, one for me and another for a friend. I don't want to go alone. Not sure if I would purchase a meet and greet. Meeting Avril would be awesome, but I could buy a GTX 1070 with that money! I really hope she does a show in San Jose. She did a show there during her LG and UMS tours, but not any after. It's worrying me.

Probably nothing, unless there's a UK leg this time, or at the very least a European one. I'd like to visit the US as much as the next guy, but it would make for one hell of an expensive concert ticket.

Unless I happened to be going on holiday to somewhere she was performing at the same time I doubt I would see her live

Firstly, I'd have to see if I like the album, because I don't think I would want to go if she releases an album I don't like; especially now that I'm not as "obsessed" fan as I was before. If I happen to like the album, I hope she decides to come back to my country after 10 years (last time she came was 2007); I think she still has a nice fanbase here and might go to, at least, a 2k venue in Madrid and/or Barcelona, if her fee isn't too high. If she doesn't come, I might go to another european country, like UK, France or Italy; I went to Paris in 2011, so if my personal duties let me, I would do it.

There are many factors involved in this.
1. We don't know if for sure she's even going to do a tour for the 6th album, what with her health and all. I want to say that Avril probably would want to, even if it was just a small tour, because she enjoys performing so much and I'm sure she wants to get back out there as soon as possible. But with the way her health is right now, even though she is getting a LOT better, a tour is questionable right now. It took a lot of effort for her just to perform 1 song at the Special Olympics last year, just standing still behind a mic stand. She's obviously a ton better since then, but an entire 90 minute setlist, touring all over the world, just seems like a huge undertaking right now. She might just release a new EP or album and do some small promo maybe or maybe just release the album with no tour at all.
2. It depends what the show is going to be like. For the last 2 tours now her setlists have been mostly singles and fans have grown bored of that. I did go see her on the AL Tour and it was awesome, but it was also my first time seeing her live. Who knows, maybe if she actually came to my area again I would probably take advantage of it and go again, but if it was going to be an all-singles setlist again with very few new songs, I just don't know if I'd bother. I was lucky the last time because everything just fell in the right place, she came to my state, tickets were cheap, it was a weekend night, and I had someone to go with. If one of those things became a problem for me, like if I had to travel to see her, or it was a weeknight, I probably wouldn't see her. And if the setlist was going to be mostly singles again and not a very exciting show, I probably wouldn't be that interested either. Why see a show I've already seen?
For me it really just depends on a lot of factors, like if she even comes to my area (she only came here on TTSMU, TBDT, and AL, so sometimes she skips my state) and if I have someone to go with, tickets aren't outrageously expensive, etc. But if it happened to work out like the last time, I would most likely see her again just because the opportunity doesn't come very often. But I'm happy to have had the chance to see her at least once, so I if I never see her again, I'll be ok with that. At least there's YouTube videos, which isn't anywhere near the same as seeing it in person, but it's the next best thing. But yeah I don't even know if a tour is necessarily going to happen for awhile. Maybe album 7.

But if I didn't like the album, I wouldn't really want to give her more money when I wouldn't think she deserved it during that album cycle. For instance, I loved GL and I didn't hesitate to go to Paris to see her live, because I think she really deserved my money and time because the album she had just released. For instance, I possibly wouldn't have gone to another country during the last album cycle if she came to tour, considering how underwhelming AL was to me.

I really really hope that she will visit my country, Denmark. She hasn't been there since 2008, and I have never seen her live. At least I hope that she will come to Germany or Sweden - maybe UK? The trip may be a bit expensive, but I know it will be worth it. I just want to see her live so bad..

If she goes on another tour in Europe. I most likely will try to attend one of them. But i am like Jack, i aren't a "obsessed" fan anymore either. But without Avril (FOB, P!ATD, and Sum41) i wouldn't have made it through my difficult teenage years. So it would be awesome if she did tour again.

I highly doubt that there will ever be a proper world tour again. A tour leg in Asia, Canada and South America yes, but anywhere else? I don't see that happen and especially not in Germany. The last time she's been here was for the Black Star Tour for one concert only. In a rather small venue and it wasn't even sold out. Unfortunately, I have to confess that I didn't went to that show though I had the opportunity to go. I just didn't want to. Due to the same reason that some of you have already mentioned before. I'm so tired of her set lists. So predictable. And I swear I gonna scream if she's still doing these lame up and down moves when performing He Wasn't again. She's doing this over and over again since 2007. But if she provides some new good songs and is also willing to perform them live I would also go abroad to see her in concert.
As Long as she's not just the opening act for the Backstreet Boys again

IF (I don't don't think so) but if she would go on tour for the next record she must perform 2/3 of the tour of the new record, rest old material.

I really hope the next tour will not be all singles again. Isn't she bored of playing the same songs over and over again? She has to have some clue the fans are bored of it, considering that they always request her to play different songs.
The only singles that really need to be kept at this point are Complicated, Sk8er Boi, IWY, MHE, Girlfriend, WTH, and maybe HTNGU. DTM and WYG could be played at some shows but not necessarily every show. He Wasn't can just be dropped entirely, it wasn't even a hit. IAWGWIW, while fun, should be retired by this point, she has played it on every tour since Bonez and it's not even a single. It would be nice if she played some other songs from GL but I doubt it's gonna happen. RNR should be dropped IMO and I imagine she will drop LMG for obvious reasons. Again, it would be nice if she performed some of the other songs from AL but I'm sure she won't care anymore by that point. So IMO it's best to keep her biggest hits on the list and then the rest being new material and maybe a cover or 2. An all singles setlist with so few new songs is just pure laziness. Especially when, besides recycling the same songs, she also recycles the same routines and games along with them. I'm willing to cut her a lot of slack for the last tour considering she was sick for a good portion of it, but for the next tour, whenever it will be, if there will ever be one, she really needs to step it up big time. There are no more excuses.

I'll go see her next concert, but I hope she moves more actively during performance in the next era. Last time her only active move was playing air guitar during RNR.
