Yes! The Amy's Baking Company episode is legendary!
The funny thing is that for a restaurant that calls itself a "baking company" their desserts were actually bought from other places. Oh and the husband had some kind of criminal record too.

I watched a prank caller ask if they faked their 5 star reviews and the husband over the phone was all like "go fuck yourself" Oh yeah and apparently to Amy legit criticism on Yelp or whatever is "bullying"

I bet majority of the 5 star reviews are written by themselves or friends/family. The rest are probably only about the desserts they don't make themselves which is the only good food they have.

LOL yeah I can't believe she bought desserts and resold them. Disgusting. They were on some US news show (can't remember the name) and she said the reviews are literally killing their business. I couldn't help but think "yes, sweetheart because they're true, how ignorant can you be? If you want to the buisness to succeed then take the reviews seriously and act on them"

Um... yeah that's not really good for business either. I also think a story came out about the husband threatening a customer off camera (or maybe it did happen during filming, I can't remember). And he threatened to call the police on his customers or something. After the show aired, they also made T-shirts with things like "I'm the gangster" or whatever written on them and basically tried to milk their exposure from the show and making a mockery of themselves instead of trying to actually fix their issues. Edit: According to Yelp they have closed now.

Bloody hell They were pretty much the Rachel Lester of restaurants then if they thought treating customers like that would be a good idea- so delusional They seem like attention whores tbh especially because of that shirt fiasco- it's like they wanted the bad attention as it's still publicity. Good riddance I say then

I remember the "i'm the gangster" T-Shirts.
Even this video from the official channel of Kitchen Nightmares is called like that:

hell yeah I am a extreme Diehard fan of Chef Ramsay. He is the ultimate and really knows how to turn restaurant places, menus, hotels and people around to better themselves. I would watch Kitchen Nightmares Britain and Us versions. I like Hell's Kitchen and Hotel hell of course. Maybe i ll watch Masterchef. He ll travel the world to assist owners in their place of business and knows exactly what to do , even getting family out of turmoil.

god, this is funny . I JUST discovered (better late than never i guess) Gordon Ramsay's shows last week! Since then my boyfriend and I got dramatically addicted to Kitchen Nightmare (his others shows dont seem very entertaining) . Besides the over dramatic background music and the fact that many things on this show seem staged...this is my new guilty pleasure!! When he goes to check the fridges gotta be my favorite part. I already feel the pain for when I''ll have used all of the youtube episodes available. WHO REMEMBERS THE TWINS? cdn.patch.com/users/78373/2012/01/T800x600/66c037658e310b919273e5b011200e8c.jpg

If you have Hulu, you can watch every episode of KN on there. Haha yeah the twins! They reminded me of Tweedledee and Tweedledum
