Sorry for the more than late reply! Yes, I buy them every now and then. Usually when we're visiting my family and take a day shopping in the city we used to live. They have a house of books, nowadays there's a bookchain in there but still, 3 floors filled with books. And they do have a quite big assortment of Mangas. And before anyone starts with the online shop: the last time I ordered something from them I had a terrible experience. First, ridiculous shipping costs! And 5 day delivery... well, it took 16 days. So, nope, out of the question for me. Wow. Here we don't have any stores where I can buy manga. There is apparently a manga library and store in Versova but I have yet to visit it.

Yeah, well my family lives like 800 and something kilometers away, so I only get my chance around Christmas :/ Such a shame it's so hard. That is quite far. The manga store in Mumbai is about 50 km away, I can take the local and metro and reach there is an hour and a half. Might be worth paying a vist once.

I don't read manga but it would take me a 20 minute journey to get to a bookstore with a pretty big selection. All the more popular stuff like Black Butler, One Piece, Fairytale, Tokyo Ghoul, DeathNote etc. Wish I could help you out. Is there nowhere you can order stuff online?

If I'd try other online stores I have to pay more for shipping than the Manga itself... or better yet more shipping than two or three books, just insane.

Well if there was a manga store 20 mins away I doubt I would go and buy manga regularly. Which is why there isn't one in the first place. Maybe normal bookstores stock those. I never checked. The one in Versova is actually not that far off, I can be there in 50-70 minutes if I wanted to. The main reason for going would be to visit their café. I travel to Dadar and Fort anyways for no particular reasons.

There are a few specialist stores like Travelling Man or Forbidden Planet that stock that kind of stuff near me but it's usually bookstores which have a section for manga, usually near their Young Adult stuff. I much prefer watching anime to reading manga though. Shipping to the UK usually isn't too bad from ebay and places like that but I don't know what it's like for other countries. It seems stupid to order something so small, like a book, and then have to pay more for its shipping. That's really frustrating. I'm sure it doesn't actually cost as much as they charge.

What genre/theme are you looking for? I feel like I want something fantasy but nothing as intense at AoT or something like that. Something with some humour and nice visuals, a decent plot but it doesn't have to be anything ground breaking. I'm really not sure. I'll probbaly end up with something completely different like a sports or music anime I think you could give "K Project" a try if you want. Iv'e watched the first season and it's really good. The character on my avatar is actually from that anime

BF and me are currently watching Blood+. It's not bad though but I actually have the feeling I can't really follow the whole story. It's not boring or so but...hard to describe, but e.g. when we watched Code Geass or Tokyo Ghoul or Bleach <3 I could remember ever name after a few episodes. In Blood+ i can hardly remember her brothers names...it's always like.."wait I think his name was..." though we nearly finished it. Well, won't watch it again though, already thinking of what we'll be watching after that

New CG stuff?! What did I miss?! Depends on what's the last you've heard. Akito the Exiled is a five part OVA, playing in the EU, time set between R1 and R2. They also plan to do a three part movie, revisiting R1 and R2, I believe with some extra scenes. Sort of to bring back what happened before we start with Lelouch of the Resurrection
