Someone had a heart attack my work a while back and looking into his eyes when he was dead was pretty harrowing, obviously we were doing first aid and trying to save the guy but there were several times we had obviously lost him, we were doing CPR for about 15minutes before the ambulance got there. He eventually died a week later in hospital and the ambulance people came to thank us and said that without us he wouldn't even have made it to the hospital. I'm a qualified first aider, but it's hella different doing CPR to a dummy than doing it to a person...I've been in 3 car crashes, 2 were little dings, the 3rd was when my mates had been taking mushrooms and I was stoned too, we crashed head first into a wall at a junction on a country lane in the pitch black while the song "The End" by The Doors was playing on the stereo... the car was a write-off, we were all physically ok but mentally very freaked out... Yeah I remember you telling us about that. I didn't know that he eventually died though, that's awful. Shrooms and driving?! Congratulations, you cheated Darwinism. Say you won't do that again.

Yeah such a shame, the guys brother sent us a letter a while after thanking us and he said that the guy seemed to have absolutely fine before it, so there had been no warning, he just dropped down and that was him, pretty scary to think it can all just end like that. As for the driving, yup. I've only once been in a car with a driver who was drunk/high since that (I didn't know until later that he had been drinking), like an ex-smoker, I've been one of the people who constantly complains about drink/drug drivers now...

When I was around the age of 7 (? I can't remember exactly but I was very young) me and my Mum did a lot of bike rides when we moved to another town after my parents divorce- I really loved it and it was such a nice bonding experience, especially after an experience like that. Anyway, we were driving along the road one day- and we had to cross the road as to our left there was the entrance to some kind of plant or something? I pass it a few times a year but I've forgotten what it is. On our right is obviously the road. For whatever reason I went out on the road and this massive, Black Jeep stopped suddenly literally a few inches away from me; I remember my mum screaming at me and the Woman in the Jeep looking at me like I was from another planet- she also looked very distressed for obvious reasons. I remember looking up at the Jeep when I was on my bike- it was towering over me. Let's just say the bike ride back home wasn't very pleasant I got told off all the way home, and rightfully so. No idea why I went out- I think I got confused.

Man I am really sorry to hear about the first incident. That is assault and I surely hope you were able to find the girls who did that and that they were arrested! That's just terrible, who seriously goes up to a perfect stranger and just starts attacking them for no reason? I mean WTF! Second and third ones... so creepy. It's alright, I'm still quite an anxious person but I don't think about it that much anymore. I'm pretty sure the reason they done it was because they didn't like the way that I was dressed; unfortunately there are people out there shallow enough to care about insignificant things like that. As far as I am aware they were never arrested or anything. I found out their names a while later through a friend of a friend but didn't want to drag it all back up again so I never went back to the police. Looking back though that was probably quite an irresponsible decision haha. theres a sort of thing called karma, I guess they 4ever wont have a relationship for the rest of their life

I love reading about creepy events and mysteries. I can't help but find them so interesting. I don't have too many creepy or scary stories from my life but there is one that I remember back from elementary school. It was the weekend and I was going to stay the night at a friend's house. I didn't go to his house too often so the area wasn't that familiar to me. It wasn't in a large area of the city, but it had a fair amount of people. Anyways, after playing outside all day, we came back inside where we planned on watching a re-run of an episode of Drake & Josh that had aired earlier in the day. By the time the re-run came on TV, it was pretty late and it became very dark outside. We watched the episode in his living room where he had a large bay-type window to our left. The curtains were only half-closed so we could see outside the window a little thanks to the light from the TV. So towards the end of the episode I couldn't help but have a weird feeling and I wasn't sure why. It was that kind of feeling you get when you know something's wrong but you just don't know what. I'm not sure if my friend had the same feeling, but sure enough just a little bit later we both saw a man's face staring in from outside the window. We were obviously very freaked out but by the time we actually got a clear look at the window the man was gone. I'd like to think it was my friend's older brother playing a prank on us, but I honestly have no clue who he was or why he was there,

I can't think of too many stories to share but 2 in particular stand out.
When I was 11 or 12, my best friend and I got off my bus stop from school and walked the 2 blocks to my parents house. I dropped my bags off and got permission to go to my friend's house until dinner. On our way out, I noticed a man walking in the same direction on the street but didn't think anything of it. We were talking about music and laughing about something silly. We made it three blocks when we heard a man yell "hey girls, you wanna play?" We turned around and saw a knife so we bolted, hyperventilating and in tears. As we reached her house, we screamed for her parents and they immediately called the police. We saw him two more times after that, each time calling the police and everytime we were terrified and crushed when they couldn't find him. I guess how could they with the vague albeit only descriptions of him we could. Never saw him again after that year.
This one is completely unrelated. I'm sure you'll think I was on a really bad ongoing high lol but rest assured, I was not.
My husband and I were in a tough place right after getting married a few years ago and were staying with a friend. This friend on one day of the week would stay the night at his girlfriend's house some distance away so we'd have the house to ourselves.
We were outside looking at the sky and getting ready to cook dinner when all of a sudden I felt dizzy, light headed and nauseous. Okay, unusual but maybe I was finally coming down with something. I didn't just feel physically sick; mentally I felt like something was wrong but I couldn't put my finger on it. It was not the first time it's happened having that chilling feeling of something not quite right but it was definitely the most intense.
After spending almost an hour dry heaving, I wobbled into the living room and sat on the couch, so my husband said he'd cook dinner. He took my temperature and it was normal.
The feeling of something being wrong grew and I could feel the atmosphere around me change. Something told me to keep my head straight, look down at the floor. I could hear my husband upstairs when the door to my right creaked open. At this point, I was starting to panic but remained forward, afraid to move at that point. Thankfully, Bill ran downstairs a little while later to get something and to check on me. Still no temperature. I didn't want to tell him how weird I felt just yet.
The atmosphere didn't change. He went back upstairs when I heard the door creak open again. Still, I am forcing myself to keep straight. I felt something very, very wrong. I couldn't and still cannot explain the feeling. I felt if I looked, something would happen. All of a sudden I felt this persistence. I heard the words "look at me" whispered. When I wouldn't, I heard a forceful sound outside the sliding glass doors in front of me across the room and saw a figure, at which point I was in full fledged panic mode and ran to get my husband.
We checked the doors, the garage and the alarm- everything was locked, shut and alarm was on. I was shaken up for days but later that night I confided in Bill that I felt like something was trying to take something from me. No, not some valuable or money but seriously take something from my being. I said it felt like it was my soul. He said he's never seen me so white or that fearful, up until then and onwards.
Months after that ordeal, I went to see a psychic for the first time. I know, you can't take much of that stuff too seriously. My co-workers had talked about her and I thought we'd go for fun. Do something different. Naturally though it freaked me out that she said, without giving anything away beside my name, age and some other details like occupation, she told me that something dark has been following me since childhood, that something was trying to take my soul. All I could think of was that night at my friend's house but I have a pretty good poker face and took it with a grain of salt.
When she saw my husband and knew of his reoccurring dream, his biggest fear (driving and crashing on a bridge over water and dying- she even described the bridge) and she described exact details he went through during childhood, for example how he had a headboard with cubbies and his seltzer would move across the cubby several times and a shadow with the high pointy hood would stare at him, specific details she couldn't possibly know, I started to take what she said about me a little more seriously. Very spot on coincidences? Maybe. But maybe not. I felt it was very random to take each reading to such specifics without anything like that being discussed.
She also told him how his closet door would open every night when he was a baby. I don't remember if she elaborated on the whys but that week after we saw her, our bedroom and living room closet doors would open every night for months.
That whole 'feeling the atmosphere change' was common all through growing up. I grew up in an old town in an old house so I got accustomed to squeaky floors and drafty doors. I was never the kind of kid to hear a noise and abruptly feel scared while coming up with abnormal reasons for the cause. I was quite the opposite.
Weird things would happen like all my curtains and clothes moving rapidly like a tornado was raging inside my room (I was lucky I had a half decent fan during the summer months which unless it was a foot in front of you, you couldn't feel it) which royally scared the shit out of my younger sister who I shared a room with. We'd feel our mattresses dip ever so slightly, feel a hand run down our arm or our side only to instantly open our eyes and no one was there.
Needless to say, I feel I've had some unexplainable things occur during my childhood so the night at my friend's house and the psychic experience was definitely the scariest thing I've ever felt and encountered.

My dog woke me up at 5am this morning growling and barking at "something". I assumed it was someone outside but it took her over an hour to stop and settle down again, she wasn't growling at anything in particular but just generally growling around the room. No idea what that was about... probably just a ghost trying to steal her biscuits?

When I was around 8 years old me and my mum were waiting on traffic light to turn green for us on a crosswalk. During this time a family together with a small kid started running to cross a street on red light because they thought cars were pretty far away from them (nuts) and their mum was hit by a car on a very fast speed she actually flew away so far and of course died right a way . Her husband started screaming hysterically and crying etc . I will never forget that moment . Always wait for a green light guys

I didn't experience this myself but there has been some buzz about it in newspapers here: Police in Scotland were called to a house with reports of a ''poltergeist'' hurling items of clothing across the rooms of a person's house, pictures falling off of the wall, lights turning themselves on and off etc. The police showed up to the house thinking that the call was a hoax but when they went inside ''an oven mitt flew towards them'' and the lights were turning themselves on and off, and when the lights would go back on again the lampshades would be turned upside down. The family's pet Chihuahua also mysteriously appeared perched on top of a seven foot hedge in the garden apparently the police officers were so shocked by what was happening that they called their superiors to come and witness it and they couldn't explain it either. I'm not sure what to make of this but it's quite interesting haha.

I enjoyed reading all of your stories, I find these so interesting. Two years ago, my brother and I dreamt about two famous people from our country (a politician and a singer), though I know it was pure coincidence, these two people died one week after our dream and 3 days apart from each other. This was no prophetic but the idea made me scared. In 2013, I went to France to study and once I was coming back to my apartment, I was living in a small street, it was during daytime but there was this weird man (maybe 45-50 yo) that came towards me and started asking my name, my age.. I got so scared, I did not answer him and I went on walking even though I was in my street, I didn't want him to see where I was living, I reached the city centre (2 min from my flat), I couldn't help shaking and I waited for random people heading towards my street to follow them. I eventually asked a woman if she couldn't escort me to my home so I was afraid to come back to my street and encounter the creepy guy again. I got involved in only one car accident. In 2011, my dad picked me from school and we wanted to go shopping, we had the right of way but at a junction there was this old dude and his stupid BMW coupé that plowed into us. It lasted not even 3 seconds, I remembered my father's scream and the truck coming in front of us, luckily the truck driver put on the brakes and did not hit us. Though the whole right front side of our car was completely destroyed, fortunately I was on the backseat this time and none of us got injured. When we got out of the car, there was a huge smell of burnt tyres and the BMW driver was so unhappy to have his 'precious' car all cracked, he was with his wife and she told him off, because apparently this man took himself for a race driver, at least that's what his wife told us.

A couple sort of spooky/odd things have happened at the office where I work. About a month or so ago I saw a random white flash in the hallway while talking to my friend inside another room and thought I was seeing things but my friend saw it too. We thought maybe a light had switched off or something but we never found out what caused it. But it was weird because we both saw it. This same friend several months ago had also lost his flash drive somewhere in the building. Then recently another guy lost his flash drive too and neither of them were able to find them again. I said maybe we have a flash drive stealing ghost in the office and since my boss is a priest maybe he can perform an exorcism
