Currently in queue to get tickets to Lover Fest East. Anyone else gonna try to go one of the US dates or one of the international dates? US Dates might go to a International date in Austraila if there is one. Have been to a Gig in Austraila and other International places before.

This is one instance where I don’t think I will regret not going. I’d rather wait until she does an actual tour. We don’t even know the other artists performing, it’s likely ones I have no interest in seeing. And I think getting tickets would be almost impossible if you didn’t do the presale. Even if you had early access to the presale, I still think the chances of getting a ticket were pretty slim. The demand is way too high.

That’s true.. after 2 minutes golden circle was sold out for Belgium but I managed to get 2 tickets for that. We still don’t know what other other artists are going to perform and I’m sure I’m not interested in them so I did it only for Taylor her performance tho

I’ve seen stories online of people waiting for hours in the presale line with over 2,000 people ahead of them. And that’s if you were lucky enough to get the fan verified thing. I think the tickets are more cutthroat for the US dates because there are so few of them. It’s exactly the reason why I didn’t/don’t want to bother. And there is no guarantee that once you get through the line and finally get to choose tickets that there will be any left. IMO it’s not worth it for something that isn’t an official tour that I personally don’t have any interest in seeing. I’ll watch videos online.

Read lots of stories about fans getting screwed over by Ticketmaster. Many waited hours in line for tickets, then by the time they were able to buy them all the decent seats were sold out. The only seats left were not only crappy seats but they were way overpriced. The seats that were advertised as being cheap were suddenly skyrocketed to absurd prices. And that's for crappy seats. Meanwhile there were fans who managed to get pit tickets for $400. Something definitely didn't go right here. I even saw some fans say that by the time they were able to purchase tickets pit tickets had gone up to $1,000.
I really think Taylor/team should have announced a bit more info about this event before expecting people to spend absurd amounts of money on tickets that are already difficult to get in the first place. There is no info on what other acts will be performing with her. No info on how long her set will be. I feel bad for those spending additional money on travel and hotel costs. This event is not happening until next summer, there is plenty of time to give fans more info before putting tickets on sale. If I had ended up going to this, I likely would have spent about $400 on a pair of tickets, then probably another $200-$400 on a hotel for a couple nights. $800 for a one-day event is just ridiculous to me and I could not justify spending that kind of money. Hopefully any future tours she does will have cheaper options or a better method of getting tickets.

Out of curiosity, I looked at night 2 of the MA show this morning to see if there were any tickets left or what the prices were and holy shit the prices are way more than what TN said they would be!!! I guess because they are “platinum tickets” which means the price fluctuates based on demand (which is totally stupid IMO). If I were to go, I would have probably been willing to splurge for the 100 section, lower tier in the stadium seats, those were advertised as being about $150-$200 per ticket, they are nearly $1,000 now!!! The so-called cheap seats in the nosebleeds were supposed to be around $50, they are nearly $400. Plenty of floor seats left because they are over $1,000 each. This is insane. Yes people will pay ridiculous prices because it’s Taylor but I think people are only going to pay so much. I don’t think many are willing to spend $2,000+ on a pair of tickets, add in the cost of travel, hotel, etc. This is just greedy now.

Woah those prices are ridiculous! 50 and 400 dollars... that's not a normal increase of price..

One of her best lives IMO
I’d love if she ever did a concert tour just like this where it was totally stripped down and just her with the guitar and piano. Maybe a few of the upbeat numbers done with the band and dancers, like ME!, YNTCD, and Cruel Summer, but the rest all done acoustically.

I waited in the queue for 4 hours and still had 2000+ in front of me when it sold out. And I was a VIP ticket holder on the Rep tour. ;(

I heard other fans say it looks like the boosts either didn’t count or didn’t really do anything even though TN said they would. Plus if many fans had boosts well if everyone has boosts it still puts everyone on an even playing field anyway.
I believe her website clearly states somewhere that indeed these are her only US dates for 2020.
