You are quite right about 1989 and Reputation as masterpieces. I would admit, that if I'm not, Taylor's Reputation Stadium Tour will end on the 21st of November in Tokyo. So, we all know well, that Avril really loves japanese audience, culture and Japan as a country in general. Also, Avril liked mutual performance with Taylor. To cut the long story short, can there be cooperation again in the future? Why not? :-) P.S. Jinkxx, you are so lucky! Because you had an incredible opportunity to meet Avril in a real life. By the way, it was 20.06.2008. So, approximately 3 weeks ago it was 10th anniversary. I would like to ask: did you celebrate this HOLIDAY? ;-) Cool you asked!! Yes i did haha!! I listened to songs and stood still at the fact it was already 10years ago!! And yes avril likes Japan!! Who knows What will happen!! 😃 Jinkxx! Hah, maybe you met Taylor Swift in a real life too?

I saw the tour two days ago on the 7th in Pittsburgh, PA U.S. It was my first time seeing Taylor live, so I was beyond excited for it. I had an absolute blast. I couldn't have asked for a better show. It was a really good show. A few of my favorite performances were
"I Did Something Bad", "Look What You Made Me Do" "Dancing With Our Hands Tied" acoustic, "Bad Blood/Should've Said No", "Don't Blame Me", "This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things"
Before going to the show, the dance moves we've seen from this era have been, as some as have said "cringey". But at the show, I think the dancing worked well. Nothing about it seemed cringey while I was watching the show. The surprise acoustic song she performed at the show I went to was "A Place In This World". I thought it was awesome to have a song that she hasn't played live since the first album era.
But I'd say the best part of the show, was when I got to touch her hand! I was in the front row of the section that ran between the two small stages. We walked through that path to get from one stage to the other. She greeted fans as she walked through the path and I was lucky enough to touch her hand as she walked through. One of the coolest things I've ever experienced. I will say one thing, when she was that close, she seemed shorter in real life.
Overall, it was an amazing show, I had the time of my life that night. I wish I could see the show all over again!!

Yeah at first when I first saw clips of the show I didn't like it much, but now after seeing clips of every show on Instagram I really love the tour for the most part and think it's one of her best (1989 will always be my fave, plus Speak Now). I love the idea of her doing different old songs every night and I loved that she did a Place in This World too, such a throwback! She even did Come Back Be Here at one show, which is a bonus track. Wish Avril would do stuff like that at her shows, bring back some old songs besides just the singles. A lot of people rave about IDSB as being the best performance, but I really love her medley of New Year's Day and Long Live at the piano. To me it's just perfection and such a great tribute to the fans. She could have just ended the show like that. But I understand going for the big finale. Every review I've seen of the show has been rave reviews, no negative reviews from what I've seen. I hope we get another tour movie because this tour is desperately calling for one.

Dillion! You saw that show?!! And touched her hand? Holy smokes that is incredible. She said at the beginning of “A Place in the World,” she had never performed it live. So you are so lucky. Now I’m really excited about Nashville. She always looks so tall meeting the crowd so I’m surprised she looked shorter. If you had to guess, how tall?
Yes B24. Let us hope for a DVD 📀.

She hasn’t performed A Place In This World since the first era, so that was very special. She is tall for a woman, and so she looks tall in pictures. I’m 5’9, but Taylor is either 5’10 or 5’11 so in person, and standing so close to me she didn’t seem so tall because she is close to me in height. I’ve just always imagined her taller because she’s taller than the average woman’s height but I’m shorter than the average man’s height. I guess I’ve just never realized how close in height she actually is to me. But I did get to touch her hand as she walked through the crowd and greeted us. It was amazing. You’ll have a blast in Nashville. It’s an amazing show. I wish I could go again!

I’ve never seen her do that song during the first era but I’ll look for it. I’m in Sec B at the end of the right X. Do you think they’ll allow the floor people to move around to get closer to the back stages and the walk way?

I don’t know. There was a ton of security at the show I went to, especially in that area since she’s more exposed compared to when she’s on the main stage.

Saw her last night. Two words: Astound. Ing!! GO SEE THE SHOW! Completely sold out. Pix to follow. What was the mystery acoustic song for the show you saw? Better Man, she also performed Tim McGraw with the actual Tim McGraw and Faith Hill as special guests. You can find videos on Instagram. I’m so sad I couldn’t go to this tour. It would have been quite expensive and I would have had to travel to either Massachusetts or New Jersey so it’s not like it would have been easy but I’m sure it would have been worth it. But this tour looks awesome, her biggest and best yet, and everyone has said nothing but good things about it. Wish I could have seen it. I don’t know how she’ll top it the next tour but somehow she’ll find a way to make the next one her biggest and best yet and maybe I’ll catch her then. I hope one day she will do an entirely acoustic show, the way she does the surprise songs, but a whole concert. I’d live for that.

I was really close to her and she is absolutely gorgeous in person. Pictures don’t do her justice. She doesn’t seem to have much makeup on either. Naturally pale clear skin and all that hair! It was 90 degrees the entire show and she’s giving it all in some hot looking outfits and running around and barley breaking a sweat! She’s in great shape and much thinner and not as tall as I thought. We followed her from Sec B back to the rear stages (we had yellow wrist bands which let us walk anywhere on the floor). So I was super close when she did Shake it Off with Charlie and Camilo and then also Better Man and she sang one more on guitar. When she walked between stages I was about 10 deep so I didn’t touch her but she did not tower above the crowd which proves she’s not super tall. Maybe 5’ 9” or 10. She really is a Super Star. She had us all (60,000-sold out, no empty seats) eating out of her hand. Oh, and we were in front of the VIP booth and saw Nicole Kidman, Charlie Krause and her dad and her best childhood friend, I think Abigale. There were some more I couldn’t remember their names. The night before we saw Keith Urban at the Bridgestone and Nicole walked right by us!! It was a great weekend.

Yes her best friend Abigail was there and also her boyfriend Joe was there too I think. What was the other song she sang on guitar? I only saw she did Better Man and Tim McGraw, or are you referring to Dancing with Our Hands Tied?

I didn’t see Joe. Yes, that was the first song. When Faith rose on the stage her ear monitor was not working right so she was lost for a while and she had a little panic on her face. (I deviously wondered if Taylor sabotaged it for some unknown reason......)😈
Tim seemed like maybe he had a few if you know what I mean. He’s starting to show his age.
I really enjoyed hearing Taylor talk about the whole coming to Nashville story as well as playing a 20 minute set at the Nissan Stadium years ago at a CMA award show. She talked about the 1989 tour she played at the Bridgestone.(where we saw Keith the night before, which was also insane. He brought out a pregnant Carrie Underwood!)
She talked a lot and the whole crowd lapped it up. She is crafty smart and one Hell of a performer.
I loved every second of it!

Hi, i'm back. I am binge-reading the comments that you all wrote in this thread for the past months.
Is a ride to read that comments that span months. And is awesome to read how doubts at first are dissipated by Taylor's hard work and mastery on her job. It looks like she and her team worked very much during so many time and efficiently to make this tour look like a first-class top-of-the-game tour.
I don't have the luck to see it this time, but i'm hoping i can enjoy the next tour she is going to make.
I read in websites and twitter & instagram that Taylor topped several records with this Tour. Attendance records in Croke Park Stadium, Dublin. U2 the band send flowers to Taylor to celebrate that record. She also topped records on several other stadiums. The whole tour looks like a 100% sold out tour. And seeing the videos she puts an awesome show. No wonder everyone that sees her on tour want to repeat and buy an additional ticket.
And for the songs. How awesome is to see more than +40 acoustic songs of classic songs from her? "A place in this world" is from debut album and she played it. @h57 you are so lucky. 😍❤
This tour counted with less guests. But all of them good ones. - Charli XCX and Camila Cabello as tour openers. I love both performers. - Selena Gomez making her unique tour performance of 2018. - Troye Sivan. - Shawn Mendes. - Hayley Kiyoko. - Bryan Adams (summer of '69). Awesome! - Robbie Williams. (With a T-Shirt of Reputation. So funny). - Faith Hill & Tim McGraw. - and more.
