I just dont understand why it's still so popular for Avril and her whole team to do silly pop-songs. There are so many great examples of great pop-songs with great mesages and lyrics but it seems that none is telling Avril that this could really fit her. Songs like 17, Hello Heartache could be really the right direction for Avril; catchy with good lyrics.

My guess is that it's something more personal between them, not just business-problems. If they were business-problems, I doubt that Epic would have used his songs as singles or that Avril would still perform his songs on tour all the time (well, we will see if she still performs them on her next tour). It's not really a secret that it can be a bit difficult to work with Avril, so maybe it didnt really click between them and then they had a fight or something. + we dont know 100% if that tweet was about him.

It's true we don't know for sure that she was tweeting about MJ but she did unfollow him at the time of that tweet and she deleted a pic of them together, so it's safe to say it was probably him. I don't think we'll ever know what the reason was behind that tweet, so just another Avril Mystery I guess. Maybe to her face he acted nice but behind her back he talked shit about her and she found out.
On the next tour the only songs from AL I see her still performing maybe are HTNGU and maybe LMG because of Chad. Maybe HK in Asia.

I don't think that Martin has made such bad music just because he had a fight with Avril. If you listen to this track of Daughtry, which also was produced by Martin, you can clearly hear the similarity between the song and HTNGU. I think that he is a bad producer in general.

Based on "Fly",I realized the reason that Epic Records didn't want it along with other Tripod songs is that those songs are not qualified to out sell than something with outstanding image - "Bratty". Let's face it, business thing is always about money, company will not take the risk that isn't potential to transfer into money. Yeah, those Tripod songs are probably too basic. Their yrics and instrumentals might cannot create chemistry for listeners to feel those emotion like we have to listen "Fly" several times, then we finally started grow on the song. However, I think "grow on" doesn't quite work nowadays coz many artists are throwing around. It's import that a single includes features that immediately make listeners feeling the emotion and knowing what happens. So, Avril really needs a song as great as I Will Be but seeing the lyrics of Darlin, I doubt if she is able to write lyrics as qualified as Keep Holding On, I Will Be, Naked
