Finally sat down to watch this! I think overall the concept is great and it's really cool to get to know more about the members here nd hear each other's stories. My only suggestion is that I think it could benefit from some editing, like just cutting out the parts where you guys rambled on about a topic that you didn't want to get deep into and so it didn't really go anywhere or perhaps you could cut out some parts of the answers that just repeat what was already said or it doesn't really add anything to the conversation. That creates more work but in the end I think more people will tune in if it's shorter and also it helps move the discussion along to avoid people getting bored. Other than that, I think it's a great idea and helps involve the community. I'd love to be a guest sometime if I have the time, I would love to chat all about Avril. Edit: Oh also thanks for the shoutout! I don't remember saying that about Sk8er Boi but lol Thanks for the feedback . We're still trying to figure out how long the show should be and how tightly edited it should be. We want the tone to be friendly/conversational but not boring. We'll see how the second episode goes because it probably won't be as long since 2 people aren't going to be interviewed essentially like in the first ep. And yeah totally, you're welcome any time. In Wonderland's gonna be the guest for the next episode but you can basically be on any time after that. We're planning on releasing episodes every 2 weeks so keep that in mind. We can probably figure something out in PM or something. I remember you saying the Sk8er Boi thing in the Song Survivor thread for LG and it stuck with me

I like longer shows because they give everyone more time to talk about each topic, and I feel 45-60m is pretty common for shows like this.
Curious to see what other people think though.

Personally I don't like long videos, of really anything. #1 my attention span is not that long. #2 I don't like things that drag on. #3 I just don't have time to dedicate to watching an hour long video. There's many things I watch on YouTube, Hulu, etc. There's only so many hours in a day I have to spend on watching stuff. I have a shit ton of videos backed up in my YouTube Watch Later basically for those very reasons. No time to watch anything. If a video is less than 10 minutes I'll usually watch it right away, if it's 15 minutes or longer I set it aside in Watch Later. But it may be days, weeks, or even months before I get to it. I still have videos that were posted last summer (2016) I haven't watched yet. I suspect a lot of us are in similar situations where we only have so much time we can spend watching videos or listening to podcasts.
Also I definitely agree giving people time to really discuss topics deeply is a must, however there are ways to allow time for discussion without dragging it out and having he conversation either get off topic or it doesn't go anywhere. That's what I mean when I say that stuff could just be cut. The stuff that doesn't ultimately add anything interesting. You would be surprised how much time you can cut down just by editing out that kind of stuff. I do it all the time when I edit my own YouTube videos.

A thing is to have 2 episodes made from 1 recording This is just to not have it to long, like the reasons Andrea put ^

What might be a good idea is to allot a certain amount of time on each topic, if there's a set list of topics for the show. If everyone's said pretty much what they wanted on a particular topic, time to move on.
I think some good topics for Karen's episode might be to talk about what it's like from her perspective as a staff member, the things that go on behind the scenes running the site that people don't know about. Obviously her history of being a fan, fave songs or albums, history with BA, what she enjoys about being part of the staff. Thoughts on the new album.
In a future episode I think it would be fun to resurrect the Great Hello Kitty debate, maybe with a member who doesn't like the song, to get a different viewpoint.
Talking with any members who have seen Avril live or met her.

That way you could also release them back to back every weeek instead of every other week.

I think 30-45 mins should be fine for a show like this. We're just gonna have to pay attention to staying on topic and not discussing useless shit

I don't mind long videos that much, I sometimes spend hours watching Youtube videos anyway. I understand why some people don't like it, though, and that's why I think 30 minutes would be the perfect amount of time. Also, going off-topic or rambling too much may make the video unnecessarily long, but that is something that can be improved with time and more experience on the show.

I was thinking another interesting topic for a future episode might be "Did Girlfriend/TBDT ruin her career?"

I feel like there could be at lease 3 people so that you would be hard to run out of words. This is kind of awkward to me... as well as the length of it could be just 30 mins enough
