That's the price in Canadian Dollars tho. It's 201 USD when you do the math but still. Is it really that rare? It was probably used for promotion only since it doesn't even have a bar-code... |

in memories. very interesting photos. #psychedelic. they look like it's 1919, not 1999. Not because of black and white, - the whole "concept". Is this some Canadian provincial specifics, or it's 99 is sooo far away? nice skirt, Avril! My classmates back then should definitely wear like this. Not that what they wore.  PS. In fact, despite the photos look weird as for the album, they are beautiful for me. Beautiful people - starting from the Grandpa up to that cutie in a beret. And teen Avril. If there were such a girl in my school, I know what I would be crazy about all the time.  |

It was the folk album she recorded with Stephen Medd, who was a local folk singer. So the photos have kind of a “folk” feel to them.
The songs themselves aren’t rare. At least the ones Avril did can be found on YouTube (not HQ though). But I guess the CD is a nice rare collectible to have. It was her first professional recording. I don’t know why everybody always knocks these songs so much. Sure they’re kind of corny and so far from what she actually does now, but I think the songs are nice and her voice sounds so pure on them. It’s really cool to hear something she did before becoming famous and doing the music she’s known for now.
