Secondly, I watched A Monster Calls. I've read the book twice, and each time cried my eyes out. The movie made me do the same haha. I really liked the animated stories in it, and the boy who plays Connor is great. He's really convincing when dealing with such a difficult subject for someone so young. I think it does the book justice. is that a spanish movie or made by a spanish director? I'm pretty sure it has a Spanish director

An American Crime. It's based off the murder/torture case of Sylvia Likens and Ellen Page plays Sylvia and I can't stop watching this movie..

Les MisƩrables: It was okay, but I don't need to watch it again. Most of the songs sounded more or less the same to me, I missed a little dialog here and there, and it overall just didn't really manage to grip me emotionally. But I did enjoy the characters of Hugh Jackman and Helena Bonham Carter a lot, and the fact that everything was sung live is also pretty amazing.
Rent: Really loved it. Amazing singers/actors, great sets, and wonderfully colourful. I loved almost every song, and the few I didn't love I still liked. It also made me laugh, cry, and want to sing along from almost the very first minute. I'll definitely watch it again some time.
Doctor Horrible: Very funny with great characters played by great actors. I also like the fact that it's only 40 minutes long, which makes it easy to watch, even in between times.

Sleepless in Seattle, I'm not a very romantic person so the sentiment of the film was perhaps lost on me.

Midnight Run starring Robert de Niro. Quite.good actually, 8/10. Lots of swearing, smoking, acting tough and drinking coffee.

The Babadook I've been meaning to watch this since Halloween 2016... I really liked it. There was a wonderfully creepy atmosphere to it, but at the same time it was kind of calm. Not over the top like horror movies sometimes tend to be. The characters were very well written too, especially the little boy. Definitely recommendable imo.
