@harvey Thanks! I am a bit ocd about reading/watching things in order, so I definately want to know the story so if they are all connecteded I will play them for the story sake. I'm not really fussed about the mobile games, so I will skip those. About Tomb Raider, I just would've liked to play it with the controller and everything, I don't have one that would work on a computer.

It's really easy to connect your PS3 controller to your PC Sadly you can't just plug it in and start gaming like you can with an Xbox controller, but as long as you've got a charging cable the whole process shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes. www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/how-to-connect-a-ps3-controller-to-a-pc/I use a PS4 controller myself, no issues.

I'll eventually have the PS4 for Christmas (I'm looking forward to it as I'm stuck with the XBOX 360, not even the new one..) and I'd like to order new games (2 or 3).. these are the games that interest me the most (from all the Let's Plays I've seen) :
Diablo III (I have played Diablo II for years on PC, it's weird to have it on a console but I'll try) Middle-Earth : Shadow Of Mordor Mortal Kombat X (I'm really into fighting games though I have never played any MK games the new one looks awesome!) NBA 2K16 The Evil Within Until Dawn
According to you, which of these games are worth spending money on ? Or maybe you could suggest other games if you want..

It's my favourite game of the year by far, one of my most favourite games of all time haha. Shadow of Mordor is also excellent, gets a little repetitive after a while though. I've not played Diablo III but I've only heard good things about it. The Evil Within was a little underwhelming imo, if you're into horror games I'd recommend Alien Isolation instead.

I always see a majority of positive comments about Mortal Kombat X, though my partner is not really ok for buying it as he says that the DLC thing is annoying as – apparently – you can't have any more playable characters unless you pay.. do you necessarily have to pay for them ? Or maybe there are other way to get/unlock them ? I did not really take time to inquire for the DLCs. For the repetitive thing, I don't mind, lots of games are a bit repetitive but they are all gonna be some kind of new to me so that's gonna be alright I think. Regarding The Evil Within, I liked it a lot when I saw some let's plays (even though it seems to be a bit hard to play) but yeah I've read some opinions on this game and it's always mitigated. But it interests me to know what didn't you like about it ? I've heard about Alien Isolation too, but I didn't watch any videos of it, so I guess I know what I have to do for now.

I should also warn you that the "Kombat Pack" only includes Tremor, Tanya, Predator, Jason, and a few extra costumes. It doesn't include ALL the DLC. The good news is that you can buy the extra characters separately for like £4 each - or whatever that is in your currency, but it's not a lot of money imo. I like playing as Tremor and Tanya, but I guess I could live without the others if they weren't there. Even Goro is kind of a novelty after you've played a few matches with him. I thought it was a poor man's Silent Hill. After playing those games and things like Alien Isolation, I just thought it was a bit generic and uninspired. That's just me though, if you haven't played any of these games then you might totally disagree.

It's not really that expensive indeed, given that £4 equals a few pennies in my currency, it should be ok and it's worth it considering it's an awesome game! I have only played the game 4 or 5 times at a friend's and it was on computer (with the controller of course), I've played as Mileena and Ermac (he is my favourite so far), I am used to other fighting games franchise such as Dead Or Alive and I was amazed at how technical MKX was in comparison, you really need to ' master' your character in order not to get beaten... and the graphics and the story (it was all new to me) are well-made and interesting. TEW ~> From this perspective it's true. Most of reviews say that it is a bad remake of Resident Evil, which is not totally false. I've seen a video-review of the last Silent Hill but I didn't like it as it was too slow (for me), and the corridor never-ending thing annoys me so much.. but I thought it was canceled.

I have MKX on my PC too. If you're ever playing it on your friend's PC again, ask him to add me to his Steam friend's list and we could play a few matches. Yes, it's a VERY technical fighting game. It's easy to get into if you're just playing against the computer, but it takes commitment to really master your character. Dead or Alive is like a little kid's game by comparison... or really sad guys who only play it for the 'erotic' costumes.

Dead or Alive is like a little kid's game by comparison... or really sad guys who only play it for the 'erotic' costumes. I'll remember that when I get to play the game again! True. Though DOA remains my favourite franchise because I've been playing every DOA games since 2002 and it represents nice memories, I was 8 at the time and I'd find all those bikini girls so cute not even trashy or vulgar, I was so naive.. but as more games come out I can see how it does not measure up to other fighting games. It truly is an easy game, a ' little kid' game as you say and the graphics look more ' mangas' than ' real-people', moreover as soon as you finish the story mode and unlock the costumes, there are nothing really special to do, I really appreciated the Krypt thing and all those Test your.. in MKX, it's a nice idea especially in this kind of game. The first time I've played MKX, the first thing that came to my mind was ' Why are there so few women to play ?' , I choose Mileena as I thought she was pretty, I had no idea what was under her scarf and of course I lost so I was not used to the ' fighting style'. Are you playing any game lately ?

@xsafirax Diablo III should be played on PC. The console version is overwhelmed by cheat users and items.

This cheaters thing added to the fact that I'm used to the PC version of Diablo II makes me not wanna buy it on console. Did you finish the game ?

Haven't tried console, but what I said above was what kept me from playing Diablo III on console.
Finishing the campaign mode is no big deal. In Diablo III, levels are technically unlimited. Because the goal of the game is setting dungeon records, what matters most is how much you make your character stronger after the campaign mode by item farming. And all those cheaters make this goal meaningless in the console version. (Diablo III is an online game both in PC and console version.)
