Since Halloween is coming up, I have decided to create this thread for those who are interested in dark topics or anything Horror in general. It can be about art, video games, movies, stories, theories, myths, murder cases, and etc. Have fun and stay spooky!

I love Halloween and horror movies You're from Italy, you must've seen Bava's films like I tre volti della paura, right? I love the spooks that older Italian films deliver, best of the best!

Bava was great. I liked La ragazza che sapeva troppo too by him. As Italian directors, obviously there is Dario Argento who has made some fantastic films

Seen plenty of giallo stuff from Argento too, great director. Have you seen la notte dei diavoli by Giorgio Ferroni? Very obscure film, but has some good (low budget) effects and stuff, lovely little horror flick.

Oh, I've seen tons of those (and the ones from the late 80s) more than a decade ago when one of tv channels ran them every saturday or something, great fun! Recently I've seen Psycho Cop (1989) which is a very typical "kids on a trip get slaughtered", and "There's nothing out there" 1991 which is more of a monster horror, but has quite a funny and unique spin with the protagonist being somewhat aware that he's in a horror plot. Haven't seen many Italian teen horror stuff though, you know any worth viewing? As a matter of fact, most of Italian stuff I've seen that's not pre-late-70's are those Rambo knock-offs, which are a fun mini genre by itself, heh.

If I have to be honest as a teen horror I have watched hundreds by USA who are also my favorites... 80's Friday 13 and Halloween that are cult, and in the 90's Scream, I know what you did last summer, Urban Legend

A new Halloween movie is being released today and Jamie Lee Curtis is playing as Laurie Strode on this one, 40 years after the first movie.
