I could tell how she was trying to control her emotion when she mentions ready to die on that night.... Am I the only one who notice all her gesture and body language from 2002 is here too lol?

Sorry, but I'm not AT ALL excited about this article. First of all: 2019? Really? Are we supposed to be rejoicing because of that? This will be the THIRD YEAR she postpones the album, to what, March 2019? That's waaay ahead of us, the hype will just be dead and buried by then. This is probably thanks to all the leaks that have been going on, but still, it makes no sense she pushes it back to 2019, it's not like she's changing the album or anything... The article has little TO NONE info about the album. The Miley Cyrus comeback article in 2017 was so much better than this crap. I'm sorry, I'm just sick of all the waiting and waiting for nothing. I was expecting at least a new single announcement. God, I think I even miss Epic now...

I don't like the writing style of that Billboard article at all. This weird sense of humor or whatever this is supposed to be just isn't my cup of tea. I find it distracting; half the time I was like "huh, what are they talking about?"
Anyway, AL6 being released in early 2019... I do find a that little surprising, I thought BMG had definitely confirmed it would be late 2018, but then again, there's no huge difference between December 2018 and early 2019. We've been waiting for so many years, I don't think a few more months are going to make such a big difference, at least not to me. I still haven't really wrapped my head around the fact that we're actually going to get a new album in the near future. Maybe HAW is just a dream...?
Apart from that, there's nothing really new there, is there? But I find it heartbreaking how Avril is apparently so unwilling to talk about her being sick, but still feels as though she has to. And that GMA interview back in 2015... I thought, and still think, that she was very, very brave doing that and there's really no shame at all in being so vulnerable. I had no idea it was apparently "misleadingly edited". Didn't seem like that to me at all. But there you see how the media can twist everything you say. Though, who knows, maybe Billboard twisted a lot of things as well...
Anyway, reading this article, I feel really sorry for Avril. But I also feel a little... I dunno... I think they make Avril look bratty tbh. Every paragraph seems to mention her I-don't-give-a-fuck side and her being annoyed with this and that. They honestly make her appear kind of arrogant, which is just so wrong. But maybe it's just that reporter's kind of humor to write like that and I just don't get it?
The photos are damn great, though. Very colourful, almost kind of cheesy or something, but it totally works. And still mature somehow.
Oh, and one more thing: is it just me or does Avril sound like she has a slight head cold in that video?

Ok but is that the announcement that the girl of twitter said?
There is nothing on that article about the album. Just the early 2019. There is nothing to be excited for, just some good pictures.

Alright, I just watched that GMA interview from 2015 (haven't watched it in years). It does indeed seem misleadingly edited. The entire video is barely more than 4 minutes long and only about half of it show scenes from the actual interview, and in nearly all of them you can see Avril crying, especially in the first scene they used.
I highly doubt Avril and that guy from GMA sat down for a 5-minute interview. I'm sure they had at least 10 to 20 minutes, but all they ended up showing the public were about 2 minutes of Avril crying while talking about her personal experience.
I don't have a problem with that at all. But in that Billboard article it seemed like Avril had wanted that GMA interview to be about Lyme, and not so much about her. But GMA made it about her and just her and only a tiny bit of Lyme. The rest was cut out, never shown to the public. According to Billboard, that's not what Avril wanted. So in that sense, the GMA interview was indeed misleadingly edited.

The billboard interviewer has some good talent at describing stuff
Sounds about right, heheh.
She loves love more than she loves the lover, it seems. Chasing the fleeting ideal, that many celebrities end up doing for decades.
Either you make people unaware of your illness, or you tell them for whatever reason - raising awareness, cashing in the empathy points, etc. what you have. If you do the latter, your identity inevitably becomes marked by the disease, and its exactly what happened.
Uh, hold your horses Anna Peele, we really don't want to get into that.

I just had time to read the article. God, I fucking love her and when she said she didn’t want to talk about it but it’s her responsibility, I teared up a bit. I really fucking love and admire her.
With that said, I do not like how they described HAW as something “opposite” to the album’s tone or something along those lines. Sure, she is a pop artist and she will always have fun pop tracks, but, again, Bonnie McKee is shit. Come for me, drag me, quote me. Her music is pure generic garbage; you can’t tell me otherwise, it’s aggressively bad. It’s so bad it’s offensive to everyone’s intelligence. And I have a bad feeling about her being involved.
I’m 100% sure there will be personal, deep cuts and amazing music. But I can’t help but to think that once again, her label interfered with her original vision to make it more “radio friendly”, a potential viral video or whatever.
I kinda knew there was a possibility we wouldn’t get the album this year, so that’s not a big surprise. However, she NEEDS to perform new music, maybe release some buzz singles, and be more present. Otherwise, the hype will die, and regardless of the direction of the album in general, the general public will stop caring.
Queen Lavigne is coming. Yaaaaassss. (I love how she said she hated saying “yas” and started saying it ironically, and now it’s part of her usual vocabulary)
And I really hope she doesn’t rap again. Not that she’s bad at it! but you know. It’s a cultural issue.
When she toasted to growing up I was like FINALLY. And I’m not criticizing her for being 34 and skating around; I love that about her. She’s a free spirit. I’m referring to her music. Growing up doesn’t mean that the fun is over; it means that you can face whatever life throws at you, and staying strong and true to yourself.

I’m glad someone else respects who she really is. a fun, carefree person. she doesn’t care what the majority of bandaids thinks lol. I know tons of people older than me who are like that and they’re 100x more fun to be around than those who got older and forgot how to live life and have fun.

Growing up doesn’t mean that the fun is over; it means that you can face whatever life throws at you, and staying strong and true to yourself. It seems like you misread that part. I had to double check to make sure because I was sure I hadn't read that part. It says: " The lyrics of “In Too Deep” are reminiscent of “Head Above Water,” the tonally inverse first track from Lavigne’s new album" They're comparing In Too Deep with HAW, how despite having "similar" lyrics, have a completely different tone and sound.
