I joined bandaids back in 2004. 2005 was the best time for the site IMO. That's when the site used to be really cool. I seriously used to think bandaids was like the coolest thing ever back then I left and came back in like 2009 and it had changed so much I do remember you though.

I joined some time between LG and UMS, not sure exactly when but I remember being on bandaids for the very start of the UMS era. Honestly I think if it was still the old forum I wouldn’t still be posting. It became a load of egos rather than staff. Much prefer it here now!

I was on the old BA in 2009, between TBDT and GL. Ahhh the memories lol The new site doesn’t have as many active members as the old site but I’m just glad we still have a forum in some capacity to still chat about Avril. Especially when she went through her period of illness and went silent on social media, I was desperate to find out any info on what was going on and this happened to occur at the same time as the BA blackout. Then I found this new site and shortly after Avril revealed she had been sick. The sense of commmunity is what has always made BA “Bandaids” no matter what platform it’s on. In fact, it initially started back in 2003 as a Yahoo group lol It's around even longer. It was founded in April 25, 2002. Bandaids was even mentioned in one of the old Life Story magazines as one of the best Avril fan sites. It also indicates the date of foundation. I'll include some pictures as a source

I remember how the entire BA staff also used to be members on ATRL back then. None of them was to be seen on the BA forum, always making excuses how they are so busy with work and everything. However, everyone of them was constantly online on ATRL complaining about the BA forum being such a shit place because members weren't as active as they used to.

Damn, y'all talking like some kind of Titanic shipwreck survivors, I can only imagine the décor, the prestige, the atmosphere, that ruled this old vessel of yours. So, who do you suspect is the longest/oldest member of the Bandaids? who out of the bunch still active was the first one around?

Hello! I too am from the old bandaids days! I joined in 2007-2008 (around then) and I was very involved in bandaids until about 2012-2013. I was apart of graphic artwork and at one point I was doing work for the Taylor Swift version of bandaids for the gallery portion.
I myself have always wondered what had happened to (old) bandaids. But it makes sense that the social media and other websites have taken more attention from forums like this and drawn more people into those directions. A tad unfortunate, because I loved the community on bandaids back in the day. It was a great place to come to and chat and connect with fans all over the world. But this bandaids revamp has the same potential, I truly believe that!
