The official anthem of the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 was a collaborative triumph.
The song, Right Where I Am Supposed To Be, was revealed in a live performance at the glittering opening ceremony at Zayed Sports City Stadium. It featured Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne, Puerto Rican star Luis Fonsi and Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi, as well as Egyptian Tamer Hosny, Syrian Assala Nasri and American Ryan Tedder.
The official music video premiered at the closing ceremony on Thursday night.
But if you weren't there on either night, no problem, as the song is now available to stream and download worldwide on all digital stores, and all the money spent downloading it goes to a good cause.
Stars from across the world collaborated, making it a truly international project that embodies the spirit of the World Games in Abu Dhabi, which have now drawn to a close.
It costs Dh2.99 per download, and every single dirham will then be donated to the 190-plus Special Olympics programmes worldwide. These initiatives help to support and empower thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities around the globe.

The song was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Greg Wells (the man behind The Greatest Showman soundtrack), alongside legendary producer Quincy Jones, and co-written by Wells, Tedder and Swedish-American songwriter Nina Woodford.
