I'm just curious what music you guys like. My favourite genres are alternative metal and post-grunge and my favourite bands are System of a Down and Seether. Honourable mentions: Halestorm and Hollywood Undead. Also, lately I've been getting into this German alternative metal/nu metal/metalcore band called Emil Bulls. As you can see that is a pitifully short list but I just have a really hard time finding music that I like. Avril was actually the first ever music artist that I liked.

My all time favorite is Avril. I aren't following other artist other than her. But Imagine Dragons is a band i really like, the 1st consert i went to was the Night Visions Tour in 2013. And later this year i will attend the Smoke and Mirrors Tour. Edith Piaf and Eva Cassady is my all time favorite "old classic" Fall Out Boy, Sum41, Paramore, Green Day, Blink 182, My Chemical Romance and Panic! At The Disco are bands that i listen to quite often. In 2009 i was a super fan of Demi Lovato, but now i occasionally listen to her. Christina Perri is one artist i admire and disagree with at the same time some of her songs deserves to be "bigger" in the spotlight. Other than that i find some songs from here and there. 3 days grace, Raise Against, Halestorm, Lindsay Stirling, Louis Armstrong, Elvis, Sting and so on.. i'm quite diverse in music taste, and doesn't fear or favor genres but judge each song. But suma sumarum i find myself listening to pop-rock-punk combinations or the old classics.

I have (sadly) a very difficult and complicated music taste. I don't have that much bands/singers that I really admire. Other than Avril, I really love Bands like Evanescence, Icon For Hire, Simple Plan and Paramore. Icon For Hire and Evanescence are my all time favourite rock bands. They combine musicaly everything I love. The song "Nerves" by Icon For Hire, shows pretty good what I mean with complicated taste. They have a very unique and interessting sound and AMAZING lyrics which I absolutely love. Other than that I like listening to Kesha, Kelly Clarkson and some EDM stuff like Electro, House, Glitch Hop and that kinda stuff. Funny enough, I really hate this mainstream EDM crap (besides Kesha ) Beside this pop-rock-punk and electronic stuff I really love classical/orchestral, jazz and celtic music. PS: If you want, you can give Icon For Hire's self-titled album and Evanescence's also self-titled album a try. These are my two favourite rock albums (and favourite albums in general). It is the best that I can offer you.

As far as bands go, I like Guns N' Roses, Nirvana, some Pearl Jam, some Soundgarden, some Daughtry and a little Nickelback. I don't listen to too many bands.
Other artists/groups:
Avril, obviously Britney Spears Taylor Swift Ariana Grande Danielle Bradbery Lauren Alaina Scotty McCreery Il Volo Jack and White Midas Whale Caleb Johnson Lee DeWyze Some Kelly Clarkson Some Carrie Underwood Haley Reinhart Casey Abrams
Most of the singers I listen to are from TV shows like American Idol and The Voice. I have a quite eclectic taste in music, everything from pop to rock, country, hip hop/rap, jazz, classical, etc.

Um... stuff?
I'm a post-metalhead oddball, who still listens to a long list of metal bands, but has embraced a wealth of other genres. I guess this explains what I'm doing on an Avril Lavigne fansite. Or maybe it doesn't, but I really don't give a shit.
But I'm really into Devin Townsend/The Devin Townsend Project/The Devin Townsend Band/Strapping Young Lad/Whatever his latest thing is.... It's kind of hard to categorize Devin's music, but Physicist, Infinity, Terria, Accelerated Evolution and Alien are all good places to start if you're curious.

I adore Muse, seen them 7 times. I also like Franz Ferdinand, Marina and the Diamonds, Lady Gaga, ABBA, My Chemical Romance, KT Tunstall, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Three Days Grace. I also like Florence and the Machine, Ludovico Einaudi, Linkin Park, Metric, Gin Wigmore, Paramore, Editors, The Pretty Reckless and Ramones as well as others, but I tend to either not know their whole discography or just haven't kept up to date with them.

I'm a huge ska-punk fan. I don't expect anyone to know about the bands i'm into but yeah, Streetlight Manifesto is by far my favorite band . Toh Kay, the lead singer of the band , also has an acoustic solo career where he plays the songs of the band but, you got it, on acoustic. So yeah, I'm into that also. Besides Streetlight I love Big D in the Kids table, Less Than Jake, The Planet Smashers Nofx , The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.. it goes on forever

I always thought I was the only one who only loves two bands/artists or so alongside Avril! Good to know I'm not alone. Just like a lot of you guys, I really got problems finding artists/bands that I like. The singer has to have that certain something in his/her voice, I need to be able to relate to the songs in some kind of way, the instruments have to fit... so many different things and only when all of them fit can I listen to that music and love it. So yeah, for years Avril was the only artist I loved. When I was around 12 I liked Ashley Tisdale (how embarassing xD) and Demi Lovato but I didn't LOVE them. Then, about two years ago I started listening to punk-rock and realized that Green Day is quite amazing and by now I really love them. And a few months later I started listening to My Chemical Romance and ever since I'm totally addicted to them. So in short: my favourite Bands are Green Day and My Chemical Romance. I also like Imagine Dragons (but only their first record) and several other Bands have some good songs too (Evanescence, Queen, Bon Jovi, Halestorm...)

Off topic but I love how Queen is just coincidentally placed over Lavigne

I listen to a handful of rock bands. First let me tell you about my favourite classics: The Beatles, Eagles-since I've been listening to them since I was a toddler, I know the lyrics to virtually all their songs- Every now and then I listen to Harry Nilsson, Grateful Dead, the Who and the Rolling Stones, but I wouldn't say about neither of them that they're my favourite bands (yeah, I know Nilsson is not a band) Then the old punk ones: the Sex Pistols-know all their songs including the versions-The Clash, the Ramones, and some Joy Division and Dead Kennedys every now and then. And the Runaways, if they count as such. Another one of my favourite bands is AC/DC. I love them specially because they're still active and kicking and have more energy and nerve than many young bands. And yes, they've been making the same for three decades now, and yes, some of their songs are so immature that make RnR look like a lecture on Roman law, but somehow they manage to handle it. As for pop, I have a soft spot for ABBA since my parents-as every European who was in their 20s during the 80s-love them and they're kind of very linked to my childhood. I have a funny story about how I destroyed my "punk" credit by singing the verses to Mamma Mía, lol. As for 90s bands, I like Nirvana, Radiohead, Hole and Blur, but except for the 2 firsts, I don't know their whole repertoire. I have both all Nirvana and Radiohead albums but I don't know anything about their B-Sides, for example. I loved Blink 182 when I was younger and still enjoy most of their songs. Unlike most people, I like their upbeat material better than ballads a la I Miss You. But I like even more one of the member's side project, which is far more aggressive and properly punk geared: The Transplants, mostly known because Garner shampoo TV ads used their first single's hook for many years. I also loved the All American Rejects and Garbage. At high school, however, I started listening to the then so-called "alternative bands" like Muse and Franz Ferdinand-In Franz Ferdinand's case, however, they were more popular in Spain than in other places, I guess that because they've played here multiple times since the start of their career. I've never seen Muse live, but I'd really like, I need to see Bellamy hitting those high notes with my own ears- I still love both of them, even if in both cases their latest albums have not been as great as the previous ones. I also have a fondness for The Pretty Reckless, I think that Taylor Momsen has a great voice. Let me include two solo acts I simply love: the first is David Bowie, whose music is just timeless-when Avril mispronounced his name . Besides, his latest album is easily one of the best of these last 5 years, and can compete with my favourite album by him, Diamond Dogs. The second is Frank Turner. I happened to know him through one of the (sadly inactive) Bandaids members and then I watched him perform at the London Olympics and I just loved his music. It's the only artist whose work is as relatable to me as Avril's, and I love the fact he's-at least by now- this down to Earth everyman. Oh, and I love classic music. But that's another story

I don't listen much to Bowling for Soup, but High School Never Ends and No Hablo Inglés are dead funny
