My favourite bands are Guns N Roses, The Pretty Reckless, The Neighbourhood and Pix Lax (Greek rock band). I also like Sum 41, Daughter, London Grammar, Echosmith, Pink Floyd, The Doors and I kinda like Led Zeppelin too, as well as Rolling Stones. Recently, I've been getting a bit into Muse as well and they're kinda good. But I've only heard some of their songs. I'm intending though, to listen to some of their albums too.Ooh you should. I'm a huge Muse fan haha. Looking at your taste I would recommend starting with Drones, Origin of Symmetry and Absolution. Black Holes and Revelations is fantastic too but more poppy. I might make a Muse thread, I go on about them often enough haha. You should make a Muse thread. That's a great idea you mentioned. I'll certainly join you.

I'm 'almost' open to all style of music. Most of my favourite artists/bands can be completely different. Even though I do have a preference for rock stuff. My all-time favourites are Avril Lavigne (obviously!), Dido, Good Charlotte, Linkin Park, Anouk and Sade.. the latter is a jazz-spiritual singer but I don't know why I love her so much, she's so inspiring and her voice/music is captivating. I used to be a huge fan of Good Charlotte and Linkin Park, but now it's not that I don't like them anymore, it's just that their recent stuff haven't find favours in my eyes Anouk is a Dutch rock singer, unless you're from the Netherlands you might have never heard about her, I discovered her at the Eurovision a few years ago and I fell in love with the lyrics of her song, she's such an amazing songwriter and singer. There are bands I love too, even though I don't consider myself as a 'fan of', I enjoy their stuff... Aerosmith, Blink 182, Evanescence, Lordi, No Doubt, Nightwish, The Pretty Reckless, Bon Jovi, Garbage, Goo Goo Dolls, Halo Friendlies, Simple Plan, Steve Miller Band, Sum 41, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.. And for some time I'd have a thing for bands from the UK such as.. Depeche Mode, Funeral For A Friend, Keane, McFly, Gorillaz, Noisette, Radiohead, Muse, Snow Patrol, The Servant, The Cranberries.. Other solo/duo artist(s) I like are mostly rock, pop-rock or pop (but pop isn't a type I particularly like though).. Anastacia, Ginger Sling, Gwen Stefani, Kylie Minogue, Lesley Roy, Liz Phair, Michael Jackson, Pink, Shania Twain, Skye Sweetnam, Sophie Ellis Bextor, t.A.T.u, Katy Rose.. But there are also Seal, Josh Groban and Lhasa De Sela that I appreciate and they are making respectively soul, classical and folk music.. When I was younger I liked 'poppier stuff' from (mostly) american singers.. Aly & AJ, Cheyenne Kimball, Hilary Duff, Ashley Tisdale, Lindsay Lohan (surprisingly she has an awesome hoarse voice!) .. now I don't like them that much anymore, but I sometimes listen to their stuff.. I grew up to them so I just couldn't forget them. A few years ago, I discovered christian rock music, even though I do not have any particular religion, I like those artists songs.. Krystal Meyers and Switchfoot, obviously the message in their songs is different from what I usually listen to but this is good as it encourages to think deeper and I like it when a song can be meditated on. Of course, as everyone (I believe), there are some 'mainstream' artists I like... though I tend to 'hate' mainstream artists those are the ones I like some songs.. Lana Del Rey, the person she is is as hauntingly captivating as her voice.., I like some of Madonna's stuff too whether it is her old songs or new ones.. Miley Cyrus, even though I don't particularly like the character she is playing, I LOVE her hoarse voice and some of her songs are really good .. and I admit I like some music of Rihanna .. let's say I listen to her music when I'm in an extreme good mood and wanna dance. There are also a lot of foreign or less famous artists I love, you might not know them.. Antti Tuisku, he is a Finnish singer, I discovered him when I was trying to learn Finnish, I do not understand all of the lyrics but the instrumental of his music have this spiritual thing that I love. Ayumi Hamazaki, she's a japanese pop-rock singer, though Asian singers aren't really my cup of tea in general, I like her stuff. Jil Is Lucky, he is a French singer but he sings in English, his music is a bit 'weird' but I guess that's why I love him so much. Lena Katina, she is a Russian singer from the former duo t.A.T.u but she has made some amazing songs as a solo artist and her voice is so pure. Maná is a mexican rock band, I discovered them during a Spanish class and fell in love with their songs. Najoua Belyzel, she is a pop-rock French singer, very creative and I love her nasal voice, though some people can find this annoying. Oomph! Is a German metal band, one of the few German artists I know but I love their stuff. Sorry for the long post but I'm bored and I really felt like telling you what I liked and see what you think.

A few of mine, I don't listen to so many artists and it can be very various.
- Avril ofcourse is the one I follow from the beginning and hard core fan with collecting stuff etc. - Kyla La Grange is such a good artist and at the beginning of her career, I love her voice and very dramatic/dark/sad songs. But she also has powerful strong lyrics. I must say I listen to her the most since Avril hasn't got new material and I'm still not tired of Kyla's songs - Placebo is a band I listen to really often, their lyrics and music is magnifiscent! After Kyla the band I listen to the most. I discovered them much earlier than I discovered Kyla so I had been listening a lot to them before I discovered Kyla. That's why Kyla is now my main artist tho
Those were my top 3 bands.
Some other music/ artists I like:
- Taylor Swift - Lana Del Rey - Juliet Simms / Automatic Loveletter - Paramore (though that was more like 2009-2011, I still listen to them but not that much anymore) - TQ - Sum 41 - Lifehouse - Linkin Park (mostly the first 3 cd's and some songs of the newer cd's but not every new album is amazing, I still wanna see them live tho)

Yesss Mcfly!!! AHH I loved Mcfly so much back then! They never got any popularity in Canada but (of course) because of that Lindsay Lohan movie my high school friends and I got crazy over them. I still like all of their stuff from their first album up to Radio Active. But they completly lost me when they started that electro dance thingy they have going on now. It's really not as good as their cute pop-rock beatles-ish songs they played when they first started
cute music

Even worse than The Second Law?!
At least The 2nd Law has listenable songs like Isolated System, Panic Station, and Madness. Drones has none - well, maybe The Handler, but other than that, the whole album was a disappointment.
I actually loved Madness...but I agree they went a little over the top with the rest. A pity.

Or I can't get what you mean saying "shit")) oh, I'm old fashioned, pop-punk of nowadays is not what I can call pop-punk, it's really hard to find something that I would like. And I listen to the bands that not even exist nowadays, from '90-00. Here in Russia we've got "fast melodic punk community", "pop punk memory" etc. on the vk.com (russian Facebook), some guys buy CD of those rare bands and share with others. Fast melodic punk is on Facebook too, but I don't know if it still active.

They're still amazing till this day. Awesome, that's great to know! I am subscribed to channels on YouTube where people share music from bands that are rare or underground. I enjoy doing this a lot in my spare time. This also one my favorite ways to discover music too.

I like and listen to alot of bands including:
♡ Arcade Fire ♡ Placebo ♡ Wednesday 13 ♡ Stars
They are probably the ones I listen to the most because they have more meaning to me. I honestly couldn't list all of my favourites though. My last.fm page shows I have over 2000 artists in my library.
