I am getting in the address bar the NOT SECURE message before the web address on all of my Apple iPhones and iPads but not my desktops or notebooks. This is on IOS systems running Safari. I am also unable to edit my post. I googled this and it is not good. The site may be hacked and your information could be at risk. Apple says to let the webmaster know about the issue. I don't know if the problem is with Pro Boards or Bandaids but beware.

I'm seeing it's not secure anymore also.

I've noticed it for ages and I am seeing it right now on a desktop on Google Chrome, but I never thought anything of it.

I’ve not seen it before yesterday. It should not be happening. Strange. 🤔

I wouldn't worry about it. There is no money to be made here. Hackers do what they do for profit, not for fun.

Not here Bob, but off the users. I'm just reporting something I haven't seen before. Here is what Apple says about and if everyone is happy with that, so be it. support.apple.com/en-us/HT208672

I understand. If you use the same user name and password, that you use for this site, on any online accounts where there is money involved, then you might have something to worry about. But, if you use the same login information everywhere else that you use here, you don't deserve to have any money.

Haha, yeah I agree except even cautious people will use the same email address on different websites and if a nefarious enterprise gets that plus your IP address then all they need is a password which can be hacked easier than most people know using random generators. Ask the celebs who have sensitive selfies circulating around web if they thought their data was safe.......at Apple Inc., no less.
Bottom line, you can't be too paranoid on the internet and Pro Boards should fix the problem, like most everyone else has.

I have noticed that the log in page IS secure, but the forums are not. I agree it should be fixed for piece of mind, but it looks like we can at least log in securely.

See the funny thing is I never see it on my iPhone (Safari browser) but I have seen it on my laptop (Chrome). But you’re saying you see it on your phone but not your desktop.

Goes to show it's all rather strange. I'm sure some Web Master must have the explanation......

OK I did the necessary research and I have an official explanation from Brian Ordonez, the Admin at ProBoards
Long story short, if you log out then go to log back in, you will see there is no warning on the login page. This is nothing new. It's been this way for a long time. You are safe here. The only thing that requires protection by encryption, is encrypted.
This kind of security awareness is a good thing. I learn something new every day.
