I’m gonna go against the grain and say Warrior. IWIM is a nice song and throwback to IWY but I think it’s gotten really overrated. I think it’s also kind of obvious she didn’t write that much of it. She did produce Warrior though. But I think IWIM is a little more radio friendly and I think thats probably what they’ll end up going with.
I think Warrior shows a lot more details of her struggles. IWIM is this kind of cliche, cheesy message about inner strength and how all the fancy cars and money in the world won’t make you happy. It says nothing about what she went through. Warrior clearly has more of her writing in it and details more about what she went through. It’s also a good anthem for anyone going through something.

I'm really into IWIM lately but I voted for Warrior.
With how things are going I'm not voting based on what would do well on radio. She hasn't been playing on radio where I live. Literally no one cares about her and I doubt IWIM would be felt by the GP as a throwback to IWY. People may not even realise it's Avril singing. This is really disappointing to write. I think she should do a video for IWIM at the beach and a Warrior video compiled of old and new footage like we have theorized Diple has been following her with a camera for.
Sorry but IWIM cliché? Warrior is the definition of a cliche song.
It Was In Me is the perfect song to end the era, it ends the first half which is by far the best on the album, it ends up the stories of the singles: Lyme disease in HAW, the toxic relations in TMIO and Devil and the steorotypes In DB. Warrior is more like a follow up of HAW or a b-side.

Complete opposite opinion because to me IWIM is the definition of cliche. It's in the title. Warrior too of course, I mean there's numerous songs with that same name and topic. Hell the album is filled with songs dealing with cliche topics / lyrics from Goddess to even Birdie.
A song about finding happiness within oneself rather than material things is pretty much the definition of cliche. Also lyrics like “All I needed was a little faith in myself, all I needed was to find the truth in my heart” - just ugh. It competes with WYG as being the cheesiest song she’s ever written. Except that I don’t even think Avril wrote much of this song to begin with. The only good lyrics from this IMO are “Let me feel high when I’m sober, let me feel young when I’m older, let me feel proud when it’s over.”
Warrior is cheesy and cliche too, and certainly not original, but you can tell it’s drawn from her personal experiences and that she had more of a hand in writing it.
Well, there’s a difference between what I think should be the closing single and what I think it’s going to be. Obviously Warrior is a much more personal song. She wrote it in bed along with HAW. It would be great to see the second song she wrote from bed (which she also produced) is the single that closes the era, which talks about winning a fight, whereas the intro and lead single, talked about a battle. begging for air. It would be beautiful to release this as the final single.
However, I believe that it’s more likely she’ll release IWIM out of these two, since it’s more radio friendly and it has nostalgia written all over it with the IWY similarities. But I do agree that it has become an overrated song (even though it’s my 4th or 5th fave song) and people are maybe giving the song too much credit. It’s nowhere near comparable to IWY, her best ballad by far.
I love both songs and I’ll be happy with either. Let’s just hope she doesn’t wrap it up soon and that there’s more HAW era ahead of us.
