From a medical perspective, this might help you
Even though BMI is an absolutely good parameter to indicate if you're overweight or not, it doesn't indicate the real risk for body (for example there's not a scale inside BMI if you're a man or a woman, but bodies in sexes are different and BMI doesn't differentiate!)
In hospital we calculate the BMI, but also the waist circumference. It's "healthier" to have fat in the glutes for examples rather than in the "belly" because the fat in belly behaves in a different way, creating some kind of hormones which are linked to Diabetes and also heart issues. The easiest way to measure it is using a meter and at the end of your normal expiration (when you breathe out) measure the circumference around your belly button.
For men the ideal is under 92, 92-104 is considerated an "intermediate risky" and over 104 is riskier. For Women it is ideal having it < 80 cm, 80-88cm is "intermediate" and risky over 88 cm.
It's important because sometimes you have a "good BMI" but not a good waist circumference, or an "overweight BMI" but a good waist circumference. So it's important considering both parameters.
Anyways, don't stress too much about body, I see too many issues around and it's sad.. love your body, this just means to be a medical (and important I would say) piece of knowledge!
