I can’t believe it’s been 2 years already since I saw Avril on the HAW tour. It feels more like only 1 year lol 2 years later we’re trying to figure out if/when the rest of the dates are even happening lol You've been so lucky to have seen her in time If my concert was a month earlier I would've finally seen her for the first time . but now it resulted in another 2 or 3 year wait lol

I feel very lucky that I was able to have that chance and that it came before everything shut down. And not having to hold onto my tickets or worry if I’d still be able to go. Once you finally do get to see her though, it will be that much more exciting after waiting so long. I didn’t see her live for the first time until 2014, I had been a fan for 12 years lol It’s definitely the most thrilling experience to get to see her live, no matter what she ends up playing.

Bogo how lucky!! My HAW tour dates have been cancelled like 2 weeks before happening.. what a timing.
Last time I saw her was for The black star tour in 2011... and very first time for the Bonez tour in 2005.
If I get to see her in 2022 it will mean after 11 years since my last show of hers 😳

Before that is was 2008 at The Best Damn Tour so I've seen her 2 times in my whole time of being a fan That's not much in 19 years being a fan

Today a good news from Italian Governments:
Concerts can be held even inside venues with 100% capacity with no restrictions. Not clear if masks have to be worn but anyways with a vaccine or negative tests, concerts can happen from this month already ! The only limit is regional: if there are too many covid cases or too many people hospitalized in that region, concerts can't happen, but they can in different regions.
For example Avril will do a show in Milan (which is in one region, Lombardia) and Padova (which is in another one, Veneto).

I still want to punch myself in the face for not going to the Black Star Tour You didn't miss much, though. It was just the start of a permanent series of Greatest Hits tours that she's been doing since GL underperformed.

I loved it, I still watch her show in Amsterdam from time to time. Maybe I'm biased because mid GL Era is when I became a diehard fan (probably like a month after her show here fml) and it's still my favorite era to date. I'm still dieing to see Avril live but I also think seeing her around that time would've meant so much more to me

I would be over the moon if I hadn’t read Alanis post about postponing this year tour in Europe. It doesn’t seem to be getting better for tours across Europe “Due to the ongoing uncertainty with full capacity events in much of Europe, as well as the logistical challenges and border crossings with a large traveling production” - I think this says it all and it probably won’t get easy in March.

Oh that's so sad, I didn't know. I think probably something is happening and something is not, and there must be some Insurance coverage behind for sure. For example in Italy there's 100% availability, so 2 dates can happen and as far as know also in the UK the situation is the same . I read in France they are at 50.or 75% I don't remember now, and some artists like DJ Paul Kalkbrenner already announced he's splitting his show in 2 different nights so that everybody can attend one night or the other. In my opinion things are going in a better direction, everything is slightly opening up and there are still 6 months ahead, anything can happen. It's clear that by January they will know if shows are happening or not and mainly in which countries: it's likely some shows is some countries won't happen, but maybe she will add some in others (why so many in Germany for example and only one in Paris?) , I want to be positive, probably it won't be a long tour but something can be..

From what Alanis’ statement says it looks like she isn’t ready to risk cancelations in between the tour because of her or her team getting stuck Germany always gets plenty of shows. It’s the biggest market in Central Europe, also a country people from countries nearby would consider visiting.

In retrospect, GL was the very last era where Avril actually managed to gain a respectable amount of new fangirls. I really can't see anyone becoming an Avril fan during the AL or the HAW eras.
