Reasons we loved Avril Lavigne though we feel ashamed

Our favourite Sk8er girl
In the early 2000s, the Canadian punk girl, favorite of all of us was undoubtedly Avril Lavigne. From her style, her songs, her singing and her attitude in general, all the girls wanted to be like her and all the boys wanted a girlfriend like her. Years later, her popularity was in decline and admitting that we loved her became something of shame. Well, here are the reasons why we loved her, and we dare to say it without shame!
1. Because she was a badass girl: she was one of the first girls who taught us that you don't have to be pop princesses to be cool, and just being a little bad and tough was good too.
2. Because her style: Ties? Cargo pants? Skater shoes? Yes, the girls can also wear them and look good, Avril was proof of that. All the girls wanted to copy her style.
3. She sang about things that nobody dare say:
