Lol, you guys seem determinate to outrage me First bronies and furries and now this, lol. I'm starting to feel grateful for not having WiFi at home until I was old enough to handle internet properly-like...joining a fan forum to stan for a woman that once defined herself as a crazy bitch Fortunately this site is slowly turning into a Rachel Lester adoration cult x10 Now seriously, I had never in my life heard about such thing as otherkin-I'm such a village boy - so I freaked out with the video of the wolf-dog hybrid girl. I watched it for a second time to analyze it better and was surprised to discover that girl wasn't that different from me. I love dogs as well, and wolves are my favourite animals since I was a kid. Like, when we had to do a project about animals for Science class, I would always do it about wolves. I would go to the zoo exclusively to see the wolves, I would watch every single documentary about wolves in TV, I knew by heart the different wolf species in Europe and America, names in Latin and all, and I was fascinated every time my grandfather told me that he had seen with his own eyes a pack of wolves passing in front of his house when he was a kid "like me". I still love wolves and have supported every single initiative to protect them in my country. BUT, even in the childhood days when my adoration towards wolves was at its peak, if someone had told me that he was a wolf trapped in a human body I'd have probably thought he was trolling me. It just doesn't make sense. They're able to speak, read and write to express that to start with-no animal can do any of those. I see the comparison with the transgender issue too far fetched to be even considered. But back at this girl, I don't want to even think that I could have ended like her-moving out from home to live with someone I scarcely know and having no friends other than other otherkins (see what I did there ); so I started trying to figure out what made my fondness for dogs and wolves a rather inoffensive "appeal" instead of just pushing me to cut my bonds with my loved ones. Maybe this girl had personality issues to start with, but I think that the real difference it's the internet. I know this is simplifying it too much, but just imagine some person with real psychological issues that make him believe he's an animal, namely a wolf, starts a blog about them and fills it with beautiful pictures and drawings of wolves. It wouldn't be very surprising that a kid that likes wolves goes into the blog and maybe he'll comment something, which will lead to an eventual conversation. The kid, unknowing he's talking with a person who's not in full use of his mind, starts aping his ays because he believes he's cool. And it eventually causes a chain reaction, sort of a domino effect in which people feedbacks each other. It may sound stupid but it wouldn't be the first time kids act that way. So, again, I'm glad I didn't had internet as a kid. PS: unlike what the video suggests, wolves aren't that dangerous and certainly don't eat you alive. Actually they rarely attack cattle, let alone humans. When the aforementioned wolf pack went pass my grandfather's village, every man in town was stationed in their windows with their shotguns ready to take them down if they tried to attack. There was no need to fire a single shot.

Such a combination. Maybe we can add some Ponykin or Furrykin. I have an online friend that is a FNAF-kin (i think). She always talks like she is a FNAF Fembot (or Ginoid) and she says that she is Indistinguishable from a human, but is all a conspiration from FNAF characters because she is a FNAF robot. When you talk to her about this, she says that she had "processor units" and other things like this, and sometimes she has "glitches". She loves the word "glitch" and sometimes she upload art or photomanipulation with imperfections that she calls is glitch art. I know too some furry lovers who have Fursonas. Some fursonas are very complex hybrids of cheetahs, wolf, leopards, dogs, lions, and a whole range of totem animals. And as said in the bronies post, the furry people i know loves making use of rule 34 with the portraits of their own fursonas and other fursonas of friends. Like a social declaration of love or something like this.
