This all I have to say on the matter of Avril driving a car and enjoying herself. Very annoying, my washing machine wouldn't drain when I tried to use it last week. Just used it today and it worked fine. Don't know whether to buy a new one or not. Does your washing machine jump or shake? I bought a new washing mashine month ago, the old one I threw away, was purchased in 2000. or 2001.

Really don't know what to do.

ben545 When my washing machine was starting to jump I put my hands on it to minimize effect of shaking, that way you can extend the life of the washing machine, From my experience it is not good to buy a used, secondhand, washing machine, my parents bought secondhand WM in the early 1990s, and it didn’t last long. In your case I would try to minimize effect of shaking and started saving money for a new one, when my WM started shaking I used it until it stopped working (about 2-3 years)

I'm more concerned that it weighs a tonne and I've got to move the damn thing out of my kitchen onto the street to be taken away and move the new one back into my house into my awkward galley kitchen. It's just a bit of a pain in the arse. It stopped draining a couple of years ago then didn't do it again until last week. I think maybe it's just a bit temperamental. Putting my hands on it to minimize the effect of shaking isn't really a practical option.

Good news, my washing machine still works. The good thing about buying a reconditioned one is that whatever originally went wrong with it has already been fixed so in some ways it's more reliable. Anyway, I'm happy.

FYI for everyone: I noticed that a lot of signatures/blends/avatars don't always show up. I thought it was my connection, but today I see a lot of frowny faces telling me that "this image is no longer available. Visit tinypic.com for more information." The imgur.com images and others seem to show up fine still.

And what is a blend? o.O To answer your question, a blend is an image that is composed of various visual elements, often using software like photoshop. The images used for awards here on bandaids are considered blends. The other issue is related to the impending closure of tinypic.com. People using this site for photo storage have until September 16th to download their photos or lose them forever. I'm going to make a post about this.

The home page is displaying incorrectly on my iPads. It's a ProBoards problem. I'm sure they will get around to fixing it. Either that or you are going to have to get something other than a toy.

I’m working from home today and live right by a secondary school, so kids from like 11-17. I’m just seeing them all on their way home and thinking isn’t it mad to think they weren’t even born 18 years ago today. Imagine only knowing a world post-9/11.
Anyway, here’s AJ doing what he does best -

I thought the same. Kids under the age of 18 weren’t even born yet. Even the ones born in the late ‘90s probably have no real recollection of it. I myself was only 8 and did not really understand what was going on. I remember the day and I remember my school telling us about it but I didn’t understand it.

I was 9 and it was happening at the end of our school day here. My Mum was telling me on the walk home from school but I had no idea what the twin towers were. I remember watching it on BBC news when we got home but never comprehending there was people in them as they came down. Horrific when you’re older and realise what you saw. Really should be mandatory learning at schools worldwide, along with the holocaust.
