So I just received the RMA number for my keyboard but the problem is that I don't know how to send a package. Do I have to pay for shipping? In the meantime I ordered that 60% keyboard I posted about and it will arrive tomorrow! As my main keyboard will be out of commission I need something I can use as a backup and later as a keyboard for my laptop.

- No spiteful or vindictive confessions. If you absolutely have to vent about how you don't like a particular member or their posts, try to do it in a way which doesn't make it totally obvious who you're talking about. But if you have nothing nice to say, it's probably best to say nothing at all. - All of the general forum rules apply. This isn't a platform to get past the forum rules and say whatever you want to say about anything. - Please don't treat this thread as a place to ask controversial questions about Avril that you're too scared to ask openly. - If you quote a confession, please only quote the confession number, and not the picture. The thread becomes difficult to read when it's full of identical quoted pictures. HUMMMM dont look like i violated this rule. but like with all things Avril one thing is said and another is meant, so since it is a problem i am outer hear.

She was talking about this: You're supposed to e-mail the confessions anonymously and Harvey posts them with a related Avril photo. Posting confessions directly in the thread sort of defeats the "anonymous" part of it.

Most big shipping companies (FedEx, DHL, your post office etc) have a collection service. All you have to do is register on their website, enter some details, specify a date and time and they'll turn up on your doorstep. I've used such services to send stuff halfway across Europe, so I can't imagine it would work any differently in the US. Whether you have to pay depends on where you bought it from. Some vendors offer a free returns service, some don't. If you DO have to pay then it shouldn't be very expensive. Just make sure you use some kind of trackable delivery option, lest something goes horribly wrong.

TFW your teacher swaps the assignment and test weights and your grade drops faster than a block of iron over the Mariana Trench.

I'm taking the SAT in 12 hours. Wish me luck! What's up with SAT's? They're just an American thing I think, I've heard of them on TV and whatnot but other than that I've no idea. They're for getting into college? Do you get a grade? Is it an actual qualification? Do you include your SAT results when applying for a job or anything? Is it just a general test/exam or is it based on what you want to go on to study later? - I studied animal care in college and need a hell of a different set of skills to someone who was going to college to become a rocket scientist... would we however sit the same SAT's?

The SAT is for getting into colleges and is scored out of 1600. Higher score = better colleges. You take it during high school and your supposed to take it in your junior year, but I took it my senior year because I procastinated. It is a general test that covers reading/writing/math up to algebra and trig. Everyone gets the same subjects, though you can opt out of the essay section. IIRC jobs don't see SAT scores.

In addition to what he said, no, jobs do not look at SAT scores. They are mainly used for college applications but are not the only factor they look at, they also look at your grades and extracurricular activities as well as letters of recommendation. But like he said, a college like Yale expects higher SAT scores from their applicants as opposed to a community college would. And no matter what you're studying in college, everyone takes the same test, since it measures your reading, writing, and math skills. Even if you get accepted to the school this could determine which English and math classes you should be placed in your freshman year. For example, my reading and writing scores were high enough that I was able to bypass the introductory English course but my math skills were low enough that I had to take the beginner's Algebra course. There's also a similar test you can take called the ACT but I don't know much about it.
