I wore a simple outfit (black t-shirt, jacket, blue jeans, vans) but it was a weekday and I was nervous I wouldn't get there in time. Many people seemed casual too or going-out casual. I think I saw one girl really go for it but nothing that I can recall screamed AVRIL LAVIGNE. I imagine in places where she's more popular she'd get a better round of lewks π
If I had a chance to see her again I'd get some baggy pants and a tank top/tour shirt. I have no idea where to get a tie or how to tie it. But I think I have the same attributes as her and can pull off an LG look.

Casual clothes, maybe I wear her tie with the Let Go star logo I bought a while ago in her official shop, tho I'm a bit scared to loose it at a crowded concert, even if I tie it well!

Both times I saw her I brought my AD denim jacket but it wasnβt long before I took it off because it got really hot. I just wore a tshirt and jeans for both shows, Iβm not really a βdress up for a concertβ type. But both times Iβve seen her Iβve definitely seen other fans go all out, with ties, plaid skirts, that kind of thing.

I really want to buy her merch for her show but everything is so expensive. I think I will wear some cargos and a t shirt. It's been so long since she has toured the UK it's so hard to know how fans will dress but its good to know its OK to go casual π

My style is heavily inspired by Avril's TBDT and Love Sux styles, so I just wore my regular clothes, haha! A pink and black plaid skirt was a MUST for me.

In Montreal anyways, LOTS of people dressed emo/rock with black eyeliner, pink skirts, ties, Avril previous tours tshirts, dr martens.. Some of them wore Black Star Tour merch too. Some of them were wearing more casual stuff, but many of them were emo looking kind of.  Speaking for myself now, i tried mixing it both : i wore an orange tanktop & black&white stripped vest.. reminiscing LIWYHM vibes & music video. I wore orange nail polish & straight hair, black eyeliner and eyeshadow. Oh! And a necklace with silver bones on it, to make it look even more rock ish. You know.. "bite me".. bones.. bonez tour.. etc. I wanted to fit with the era/stage and Avril's outfits lmao. And it worked! |
