On What the Hell she says on the background voice "Va' Fan" which is the swedish saying of "What the hell" I didn't know that. I always thought she was saying "la la-ah"

She's whispering in Together. When she sings
"My heart is broken I'm lying here My thoughts are choking on you my dear On you my dear On you my dear"
It's scary, bitter, heart-broken, but makes the song (at least that part) more connected to those emotions she wanted to sing about in Together. Beautiful.

Beautiful. Also in when she says "choking"... Love the whole eerie, darker vibe on UMS... Glad the OP did this thread, it made me listen again to it... On How Does it Feel (when I put the audition configuration on my iPod to the extreme left (or right?) ) I can listen some good creepy and distorted loud guitars, that I can't even barely hear on the original audio, ending the song.

After min 2:53 .... there are like 2 different guitars, I'm talking about the one less sounding on the original audio... when I change my audio configuration on my iPod to L or R (completely), the guitar sound is more perceptible to our ears. I don't know if there could be a program to extract that layer sound.

Thanks to one of the members, I have all of the backing vocal versions of Avril's songs, but in my version, unfortunately I can't hear anything that special in the end of How Does It Feel But the background vocals are beautiful.

There is something similar to this effect on Everybody Hurts. Hard to hear it in the original recording, but if you have an audio program that has an effect that tries to isolate lead vocals or background vocals, you can hear two different takes on the line starting at 2:50-3:10ish. Very similar, but the takes end slightly different. The line is "everybody hurts somedays, ya we all feel pain." One take is in the left side, and another is on the right side. I didn't fully realize this recently. When the album first came out, my headphones were starting to die, so sometimes I had to put my iPod on mono audio and that would make the stereo audio blend together and make it sound a little off since those were two different takes blending together in the same line instead of being on opposite sides.

Would you mind sending the background vocal versions my way possibly? I absolutely love those! Tamy has (as far as I remember) all of the real vocal-backing vocal versions of Avril's songs. Here's her edit of How Does It Feel, but take a look at her channel. And you should take a look at UMS125's channel too, there are some really great and unique karaoke versions of some of Avril's songs, but unfortunately just some of them. I tried to speak with her, but she said she doesn't love Avie that much anymore, so she won't do other songs from her. I asked her how she makes these versions but she didn't anwser since my message. I think she doesn't want to tell me "her" secret and that's why she doesn't answer me at all...

The fact that the beat drops and she says "Away" later. And the title of the song "Things I'll Never Say" can be related! She also says this: "I wanna see you go down...... On one knee"

In GYWYL, after the first time she sings the chorus, when she sings the verses, there are some backing vocals that I've always loved. But unfortunately, I've never understood what she could be saying. Does anyone know what she's saying in the backing vocals of GYWYL?

But unfortunately, I've never understood what she could be saying. Does anyone know what she's saying in the backing vocals of GYWYL? the 2nd chorus, she's just repeating lyrics "emotions aren't that hard to borrow ((emotions aren't that hard to borrow))" and the 3rd verse it's same as second, she repeats lyrics, but this time they're played in reverse.
