Cuba x2 Costa Rica Mexico Switzerland Morocco USA x2 France x3 Italy x2 Belgium x2 Germany x2 Poland Cape Verde Canary Islands x2 as in two seperate islands Wales x too many times to count Scotland x2 Far too many places I'd like to go to list..! Costa Rica is the one I always wanted to visit, and I'd happily go to Cuba every year of my life, so I feel quite lucky to have got to visit them, both beautiful countries. St Lucia looks stunning too, I'd like to go there.

I forgot to list what countries I'd like to visit. Really the only country I would like to visit is Canada. I would make a pilgrimage to Napanee

I have already visited a few places and loved all of them I'm also lucky that I had the possibility to actually spend a few months in different countries and always had an amazing time I'm listing all the cities I have been to - so, if anyone wants some recommendation, feel free to ask Sweden (Stockholm, Malmö and beautiful places in the countryside) Denmark (Copenhagen) Spain (Pamplona, Ibiza) Italy (Roma, Milan, Venezia, Verona and many small places) UK (London, Oxford, Brighton and some smaller places) Czech Republic (Prague) Thailand (Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai and the islands) Cambodia (Siem Reap, Phnom Penh) Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An, Cat Ba Island) Singapur Greece (Crete) Netherlands (Leiden, Amsterdam, Haarlem) For whatever reason I have never visited my neighbours Austria, Switzerland and Poland (and I have never been to Bavaria, which is kind of an own country for us Germans) - so that's the next thing on my list And when I have enough money, I would love to visit New Zealand and Island.

Most of Europe, I used to visit Amsterdam quite a lot in Holland, India, Australia, USA (California and New York), Tunisia,
Would like to revisit California, I'd love to live in California for a while if possible. India is a great place but a bit scary because it's not properly developed and very poor in places. I think France is perhaps my favourite European country, some of the Greek islands like Crete are really nice too. Holland is perhaps a little too flat and boring. I have enjoyed my time spent in Germany, very friendly welcoming people. The French are perhaps the least friendly people as I feel France is quite an exclusive place to live. I can't really remember Spain but it is highly rated by people I know that have lived there. I would also like to visit some of the northern European countries like Norway and Sweden that have been recommended to me. I don't like flying very much.

Yeah I heard that French people can be obnoxious when it comes with their personalities. But other than that, I did visited France myself. The only places I went were Cannes and a small village near the Italian border. Haven't seen Paris though. My friend from the States recommends me California since she goes there a lot. I don't mind because it's one of the places that I want to visit, and I have family there too. Other places that I'll like to see are New York, Canada, Germany and more of France.

^ I've never been to France but other people I know have, all of them recommened to never ever mention you're German, best not to speak German at all. Another said he sat at a cafe, ordered in English and the waitress turned without taking the order and acted as if he wasn't there... :/

In my experience, when I ordered pizzas in a restaurant the waitress seemed fine with me. I'm Italian so I don't know how they really are with them.

I did meet this really friendly French guy in a youth hostel near Monaco. He took me to a Mozart concert on the French/Italian border and told me I could stay with him in Paris whenever I liked. He lived with his mum in Paris apparently. Wasn't sure if he was serious or not. I'm still friends with him on Facebook. I always have a spare room free if anyone fancies visiting Birmingham UK.

Well, I have been to Turkey- Anatolia, Cappadocia and Istanbul- and as much as it's a very beautiful country-which I already knew-, the thing that surprised me the most was how incredibly yummy their bread is. It was during a senior year high school trip so I will always cherish it-and the countless adventures I experienced. People were very nice all over the country and very, very understanding with us- a pack of fool 18-year olds whose life oscillated between HTNGU and RnR I also have been to Morocco, but only to the the former French part. Marrakech is a very beautiful city, all painted in salmon pink; it's really magical when the sun sets , but the place I loved the most was Essaouira. I didn't like it half as much as Turkey though. I've been to Germany too, but just in the Berlin area. Whilst Berlin is quite impressive in terms of cultural life and has some of the best modern buildings in Europe, the place I liked the most was Potsdam-even when we went there during an specially harsh winter. I remember some German parents letting their children walk and jump in the frozen ponds in the Sans Souci's palace gardens. Needless to say, I also had to walk on the icy pond lol. I'd really like to go to Hamburg and to the Bavaria region, and, ever since I was a child, to a less publicized city, Lübeck, which from what I've seen in pictures, is just a medieval wonder, and to Aachen to see Charlemagne's chapel. Oh, and Köln, too (we call it by the Roman name, Colonia). I've lost count of the hours I've spent looking to pictures of its cathedral. Being a Spaniard, I've been in Portugal three times and it's a place I really recommend. It has this "old glory" charm that is as appealing as it's nostalgic. The places I love the most are Porto, which is a wonderful city clad in white and blue tiles, and Sintra, the old vacation spot for the Portuguese royalty. Lord Byron said of the latter that it was a "Glorious eden" and it truly is; it holds probably one of the most beautiful gardens in Southern Europe. I've been told that Porto is undergoing some extensive renovations lately so if you really feel the appeal of the decadent aristocracy thing you should go there as soon as possible before they turn it into a regular historic European city. Oh, and the best wine in the world is made there . Last year I also went to France for the first time, but only to the south- we went by car from Northern Spain- to Carcassone and also made a stop in Toulouse. I had this idea that the French would be rude to us, so I kind of polished my French as much as i could, but they actually were quite nice- and many of them spoke Spanish, much to my amazement. However, I've been told that people in Southern France are friendlier than in the rest of the country and specially in Paris, ad I've met a handful of not-so-nice French people. However I tend to think that people are the same everywhere and I just encountered the wrong people lol. My current favourite place to go is Britain, though. I've been there three times, and I just love it- everything from the accents to the weather- lol. The food is the only thing I'd change. London is spectacular and a must-see but in my humble opinion, it's not even the most beautiful spot in England, let alone in the country. Bath, Salisbury and Oxford are made of the material of dreams, and York is wonderful. We just caught a glimpse of Durham and Ely from the train, but they were stunning as well. The English countryside is much as Tolkien describes it in the Shire, and one of the things I love the most about England- I am myself a little town boy . The most spectacular city I saw, however, was Edinburgh, I had just opened the gates of Waverley station and already in love with it. It seems like if it has been taken straight out of a fairy tale- btw, have I said I'm a sucker for Sir Walter Scott?- I really want to travel more around Scotland, I really loved what I saw of the Borders. I'm looking forward to go to the Highlands- I can't die without seeing Glencoe- and to Stirling next time . I'd also like to go to Ireland and Wales, I've always had this picture of Wales being supernatural beautiful, and Cornwall is definitely a place that appeals to me.There are SO many places I'd like to visit, both in Europe and overseas, lol. Id like that Italy and Scandinavia were the next, though.

I must say I met this really cool Canadian in Amsterdam. He was a street artist and used to perform magic tricks and escape from a straight jacket twice a day in two street shows. I used to get drunk all day with him and our little crew of hangers on he had picked up on his way. He used to dislocate his shoulder twice a day doing this act. Really mad guy, could drink me under the table but I was getting stoned as well though, rude not to in Amsterdam...lol!! I was supposed to be doing a bike ride round the South of Holland but got held up by the weather and ended up hanging out with this Canadian and his friends. I love that guy! I told him I was a fan of Avril Lavigne.
