Brendan: Avril BandAids Bookclub: #1 The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian: The Return to Narnia 1951 195 pages Fantasy, Young Adult, Childrens C.S. Lewis Maximum pages to us to read: 5-20 pages a day but I don't really mind if you want to read in your own pace.
"We start reading this when everyone who wants to read this book has downloaded this book on their devices. So please state or give a little shout out on to this thread if it has or was successfully downloaded onto your device."
Welcome, all and welcome to our first ever book club here on Avril Bandaids. I wanted to pick a book that was something easy and nice to read just to kick things off. I really hope you guys give this book a go and hopefully you already know about this creation, I know a skipped the gun a little by not picking the first book truth to be told I recently finished it and I wanted this book to be a great opportunity to express and discuss this fandom with you guys.
The first question would be "How realistic was the characterization? Would you want to meet any of the characters? Did you like them? Hate them?"

Great choice, I haven't actually read any of the Narnia books before so I'm looking forward to this. I'll download it onto my kindle when I get home tonight.

I saw the first movie a long time ago and only somewhat read the first book in elementary school. I'm assuming that you don't need to know about the first book in order for this book to make sense?… meaning that the first book is not a definitive prerequisite of this book?

I read the whole series when I was nine or something. If you have watched the first movie, you'll have no problem reading this.

So, so, sorry I actually never thought of that, but I'm glad that you found some links for Spanish users. I really hope that everyone has this specific book because I am going to start reading this book tonight! before bed time.

Already on chapter 11 of this book. About half way through. Nice to read something straightforward for a change.

I hope you are enjoying this book. Oh gosh, I haven't even started mine because my Kindle needed charging last night and I was so tired for some reason but definitely starting to read it tonight. I would also love to know who else is reading this book?

*Spoiler alert* Currently on chapter 3 13% completion.
I'm absolutely enjoying this book as far I'm getting these feelings these feelings of mine is when you find something new you love like a new fandom or new album, which I really appreciate because I absolutely have seen C.S Lewis in a new light because I actually never read a book of his since "The Lion And The Witch And The Wardrobe" which I finished a week ago.
It's very addictive within his styling of writing, he captures a strong emotion within inside of me because these characters have strong atmospheric atmosphere I really love how the author captures a sense of anxiousness and realism because you could also feel the awareness that there didn't want to go back to school because I used to think back on the feeling when the term was over that getting used to within a structured routine. And you can tell that there didn't want to separate from each because there went to different schools. I really love how strongly connected these four are “All catch hands and keep together”. By this quote very family oriented. Very creative on expressing the sense of magic blending the both realities together, I loved how it feels that Narnia wanted them back to the kingdom for something it was very compelling it felt that Narnia needed their help once more.
The other reason why I'm enjoying this book is the continuity of the first book it has been a year since they left Narnia, which by that time Narnia has changed because time shifts differently from our reality. I just love how accidentally there four came upon a ruined unwillingly without knowing what had occurred and by finding signs and acquiring memories like the golden chess piece which was really fantastic just to make the composition really thrilling because they're intestinal now know that the ruins that their found was the King and Queens of Cair Paravel once their thrones and high place in Narnia. I just love his authorship very simplistic, but really effective in sculpturing the imaginations. Finding the weapon that Santa gives in the first book I thought it was a nice characteristic again, I thought it was well satisfying within the continuity but I do hope that Edmund would get his gifts? and really adore how Susan lost her horn that sense of threat and anxiety and surviving on their own within the new world.

Well, I guess I like the way the style of writing is quite quaint and that all four of the children seem to speak the queen's English and are kind and considerate to one another. I also like how things are slowly revealed to the reader about the nature of the children's predicament as the story goes on. Even though I have read none of the other books I can easily work out what's going on. Nothing else really to report so far, sorry a bit brief.
