Avril Bandaids 1 Year Anniversary (Boards.net)

Dear Bandaiders all over the world,
It's been exactly 1 year today that this website was launched as a temporary forum, and then it was eventually converted into the real BA forum. Ever since I joined Bandaids in November 2012 it has been an amazing experience for me personally as I'm almost an adult and I was only 14 when I joined. It's an honor to be part of such a great close-knit community and part of a great, hardworking staff team and it's a pleasure to be a BA Admin alongside Francy and Amanda. I'd just like to say, from all of us in the staff team- we are extremely thankful that you've stuck around and supported, become a member of and use this site. What I love about BA is that even though we lost the original forum the community didn't die with it- and we came back, for Avril, to see our fellow members again and to enjoy the Bandaids site experience again.
Enough about me, though

We appreciate the continual love of the site by the members.
We appreciate how well received this site has been and the loyalty of the members. Although we have lost some great members recently, many members have migrated from the old site to this one.
Without the mass of the members, there really wouldn't be a Bandaids community. We appreciate that the members have continued to love the site, the forum experience, Avril and her music, and the relationships we've created with each other over the years.
Amanda:
AvrilBandaids is a special community that has reached communication with our main idol in such a special way. Avril Bandaids members have been invited to concerts, to meet Avril Lavigne in person and been invited to Abbey Dawn events as album launch parties. With over 1 Million members on Facebook, and over 130K on Twitter, we have sincerely become a huge part in Avril's career over the decades.
Also a special thanks to all the current members of the forum and the active members on Facebook and Twitter. Thank you for staying active on this forum and despite all the problems that came with the last site, kept on hoping for the community to come back
In Wonderland:
We connect through one artist, but the diversity and creativity our forum is showing. Members of all ages, are daily coming to discuss the latest Avril news, and also to the anonymous confession thread. Not to mention the random discussions
We are expanding each day, weekly competitions such as Signature of the Week. And now we have our very own book club.
For some Bandaids are mainly about that one musician, but also the community we have built over the past 14 years. Some members leave, some will maybe always stay.
Thank you for staying with us this past year, and I look forward to the future of how we can make the site even better!

Thank you to the staff for always finding new ways of keeping the site fresh and coming up with fun ideas to bring us all together as we wait for Avril's next project. Without the staff's dedication, we wouldn't have this site. 
Congratulations to all participants here and huge thanks to all staffs for their work. I love this site and wish it existing in the far future, be active with interesting people.
