I saw the film in theaters tonight. The footage was amazing. And the audio sounded so great!
In the credits, alongside footage of fans at the shows, they also showed clips of Taylor’s mishaps on tour. People online have deemed these moments the “errors” tour. I thought it was really cool that Taylor included those kind of clips in the credits sort of like bloopers that a regular film might show in their credits.

I haven’t seen the film yet. I got tickets for the second weekend, as that’s when my friend and I were both available to go together. But I saw a clip online of the credits when Long Live plays. From the very short clip, it didn’t look like any parts of the performance were used, instead just pictures of fans at the concerts. And the audio wasn’t super clear, but it sounded like Long Live TV was playing and not the audio from the Eras Tour performance.
Just thought that was interesting because when I heard about LL being played over the credits, I envisioned the credits rolling over top the footage of the performance and it seems that’s not what the credits are like at all.
I still think it would’ve been cool for the credits song to be YOYOK because that’s the song that played in the stadium immediately after the concert ended. But I guess Taylor really wanted YOYOK to be one of the surprise songs in the film.

^Thats why I thought it definitely wouldn’t be the Bad Blood Remix. Because the remix is the more common version of the song. Casual listeners only know the remix because it was the single version which got the music video and got played on the radio. Only fans largely knew the album version, and I’d say most fans preferred the remix. So it’s definitely the more favorable version of the song overall. So I thought that there is no way she’d put the Bad Blood Remix exclusively on a vinyl.
I will say, justice for the album version of Bad Blood. I prefer it over the remix. Not because I dislike Kendrick or his verses, but because I love the backing track to the album version and I think the remix track is just okay. Bad Blood gets a lot of hate in general from fans. It’s always been one of my favorite songs from 1989.

Sweeter Than Fiction (Taylor's Version) will be the bonus track on the tangerine vinyl. A retailer in Australia uploaded the tracklist prematurely on their website and revealed this information. No official word from Taylor or Taylor Nation. But nevertheless, I think it's safe to say this is the bonus track since it came from an actual retailer and not just some random person on the internet.

Is It Over Now? sounds like it willl fall in the lines of The Lucky One and Nothing New, talking about her fears about her career ending or her becoming irrelevant.
I could be wrong and it could be about fears of a relationship ending.

And now Taylor Nation is asking for fans to keep doing the same puzzles to get a total of 40 million. People are speculating that more info may be announced when the 40 million is reached.

It looks like now it is showing up for more people. You must type “Taylor Swift” in the Google searchbar and scroll down a bit to see the blue vault (some people said it only works if you capitalize the letters). Then click on the vault and clear the search bar (hit the x, don’t backspace) and type “1989 Taylor’s version” then all I get from there is a message to check back soon, but some people have already figured out some of the puzzle answers. Apparently we have to solve 33 million puzzles to unlock the vault itself. The puzzles so far have been things like “she lost him,” “thirteen,” “summer fling,” etc. so I don’t think any actual vault track names yet. After I finally got the vault to show up, I was struggling so hard to figure out how to enter my answers. I was using backspace and then typing my answer as well as trying to type my answer after "taylor swift" in the search bar. After seeing your post I learned that neither of those were correct and none of my answers were being recorded. smh But I've got almost 30 done! I really struggled with the "halloween costume" hint. All I could think of were her frozen olaf costume and her bear costume. I had to google images of her past halloween costumes to get a visual hint and I eventually figured it out.

Did the vault thing work for you guys? It didn't for me 😭 I did not for me either. I’m convinced Taylor and her team had nothing to do with it. It seemed weird and out of place.

I’m sure theaters are maximizing how many screens their showing the concert film on at the beginning to fit the high demand, but as the weeks go on, theaters will probably decrease the number of screens they use for the film. After so many weeks, it could be down to one screen at each theater which would make room for other films to be played at the theaters.

I’m curious to see if she extends how long she keeps it in theaters. I think it could stay successful for much longer than a typical film is in theaters. Like, if she has the ability to put in on streaming after 13 weeks from opening weekend, would she try to keep it in theaters for all of those 13 weeks? Because it’s not playing every day of the week like typical films, its only showing on the weekends.

I didn't go with opening weekend either...my friend wasn't available to go then. So we are going the second weekend on the 19th. The tickets are pretty affordable, compared to concert tickets anyway, so we are going to two showings and will be getting dinner in between the showings.
We thought that we would soak up as much as this as we could by going to two showings, as you never know how it was pan out after the film leaves theaters. I know Taylor is on her own level and has means that other artists don't necessarily have, but you never know. We do know that Taylor has said she wants as many people to experience the Eras Tour as possible, so releasing her film in other formats after it leaves theaters should almost be given, but the timeline of such could be anything.
I know MGK had a one-night only showing of his concert film (which was the Cleveland show that I actually went to!) but the film wasn't in my local theaters so I couldn't go. And that one night showing was back in May. His film has yet to be released in any other format.

Talking about the idea of a UMS Anniversary Edition and possibly getting to hear a full version of Daydream with Avril’s vocals reminded of the AI covers online. An anniversary of UMS is already possibly a fever dream, but one of GL would most likely never happen. So AI is closest we’ll probably ever get to hearing Avril’s vocals on Dancing Crazy. I know the Max Martin didn’t fit the rest of GL and adding one more wouldn’t have necessarily been better for the album, but I absolutely love this song and wish it would’ve at least been on the deluxe. It would’ve at least been better than Bad Reputation and WTH Bimbo Jones Remix

I’m really curious if she’ll slowly remove a song here and there from the set list in order to eventually do those songs as a surprise song. So she do songs like Shake It Off, 22, and Fearless acoustic.
There are some songs on the set list that I could see her not want to do that for though. I don’t think she’d want to take away the experience of Cruel Summer just to sing it acoustic. And most of the Midnights set I think she’d want to keep like Anti-Hero, Lavender Haze and Karma.
She said she was “tricksy”. I’d love to see her play a different Red song instead All Too Well 10 for one night and let the crowd lose their minds that they didn’t get it and then start playing it during the acoustic set as a “gotcha” moment.

I had to move the week after I went to the Eras Tour so I totally forgot to post!
I went to Pittsburgh Night 2. I was lucky enough to get Floor seats where the diamond part of the stage was. I got them from that second drop of tickets they released after the original presale.
With how high the stage was and not having tall people in front of me, I had a great view. Taylor got so close on the diamond!
The crowds were absolutely insane! Way crazier than they were when I went to see the Rep tour back in 2018 at the same stadium. When I was leaving the food line to go get in the merch line, everyone was in a dead stop at one point because no one knew how to proceed forward because how many people were packed in there. I got my food pretty quickly, but I stood in the merch line for 1.5 hours! I figured it would take a long time which is why I got food first so o could eat while waiting in the merch line. I missed both the opening acts in order to stand in the merch line, but I made it to my seat in plenty of time before Taylor started.
The surprise songs were The Story Of Us on guitar (which is one of my favorite Speak Now songs) and Seven which she brought out Aaron Dessner for to play the piano!
Since my friend and I had tickets to night 2, went drove into the city on Night 1 to make sure we didn’t have to travel the day of the show. And since we were already there on Night 1, we tried to get last minute resale tickets, but the prices never dropped to reasonable price, so we just camped out in the parking lot in my car. We were on the top level of a parking garage next to the stadium. We were able to hear the concert so clearly. So we kind of got two nights of Surprise songs. Night 1 she played Mr Perfectly Fine and The Last Time which were the two songs I had told my friend that I wanted to hear! It was so crazy to hear both of the songs I wanted live. The only shame was it was the night that I wasn’t inside the stadium for.
It was a great show! Easily the best concert I’ve been to and the most fun I’ve had at a concert. Other than the insane crowds, there wasn’t a dull moment!
