Often regarded as the Queen of Pop, Madonna has had a career that has spanned well over three decades. Starting out as a backing dancer to jumpstart her career, She moved alone to New York with only $35 in her pocket. Madonna took part in the band The Breakfast Club shortly before going solo and releasing her debut eponymous album. An overnight success, it opened doors for future successful releases such as Like a Virgin and True Blue. These albums helped to establish her as an icon and made it possible for her to become a legend. Madonna's career has arguably revolved around reinvention and controversy that dealt with topics such as religion (Like a Prayer), sex (Erotica, Sex) and politics (American Life). Well into her 50s, Madonna is still a pop culture figure and an often cited influence among current artists. With all that said, are there any fans of the QoP here? If so, what's your favorite album?

I like her, my favourite album of hers is 'Something to Remember' because it has all of my favourite songs on it from her like This Used To Be My Playground and Take a Bow I agree that Something to Remember is great. It's nice to have an overall slower album from her even if it's a compilation. Regardless, songs like Take a Bow and Live to Tell are so amazing. Personally, my favorite album of Madonna's is American Life. I loved how she really stuck with her beliefs with the opposition to the war. Plus her folktronica sound that era was amazing!

Erotica will always be my favorite, followed closely by Like A Prayer. Her period from Like A Prayer to Bedtime Stories has always been favorite. I also think American Life is fascinating. I love the eerie folktronica sound. I loved the artwork and imagery from that album too.
On the matter of Something To Remember, I Want You is my favorite of her one-off songs, and it's sadly been kind of lost in the shuffle of all of her big hits and singles. I love Massive Attack (who produced the song).
