I'm not going to start talking about Clinton on Trump in general.
But I do think that people should accept the result and stop protesting, it's a part of democracy to accept what/who the majority voted for. Yes, both weren't dream candidates, but the people voted that way.

Just wanted to leave this here. So people realize what conversion therapy does to you- which is something trumps Vice President stands by, and Vice President confirmed trump himself wanna look over obamas gay-laws and change them. I fully understand people who protest for their lives

Yes, both weren't dream candidates, but the people voted that way. But for many people this isn't just a simple election, this is putting their lives at danger. This is an election that could take away rights many people fought for and that can hurt them. If it wasn't so serious to them i don't think they would protest

They have the right to protest but it can't change anything. They're not going to repeal the vote. And the president can't just do whatever they want, it has to get passed by Congress, so hopefully if he wanted to overturn any laws there would be enough votes to stop him from doing that.
Going back to what Underclass King mentioned about the electoral votes, that's just ridiculous. I was talking to my parents about this and I said I didn't understand why a vote can't just equal a vote. To some degree I do understand the point of electoral votes, essentially it evens the playing field in states that have a smaller population and areas which are more heavily one party or the other. But this isn't he first time a candidate who won the popular vote still lost the election. It's BS. A vote should equal a vote and whoever gets the most wins.

May I also point out that the man who is to becomes the next leader of our country has a habit of using the word "bigly," which is not even a word in the English language?

I know theres a protest going on though to like stop this from happening atm. Because there's still chances, as ive undestood the votes are not still 100% confirmed yet and theres still a few days for them to approve of him as a president etc. And the people who protest plan to make a list of all the accusations he has against him, like all the women who claimed to be sexual offended by him, the 13 year old girl who claims she was sexually assaulted by him (but because of death threats she draw the report back). I just hope theres a way to either stop him or really have him under control. The list of things Trump has said he want to change in the country are awful. I am very thankful that I am in Sweden at this moment, but at the same time i'm so sad for my american friends. Some of them have already been harassed just since the election, and I can see why people protest and are sad because this isn't just an election but also making a behavior okay that really isn't okay... :/

Honestly when Trump was being mentioned more and more months ago I thught he was a joke. Like literally. Haha. And even the fact that people had to choose between a Clinton and Trump, like what the actual... is that kind of choice? It's like you vote for the one who is less WORSE, not the one you actually like. I don't even understand how Cliton was chosen over Bernie. If I remember correctly according to statistics Bernie would've had a greater chance over Trump.

I don't agree with people "should accept Trump", Hitler also won and people accepted his leading and we all know how it ended .. Trump needs to be stopped now before anything really bad happens. It's even crazy to see how all world is afraid of one person, this tells more than anything! 8 transgender persons committed suicide out of a fear after Trump was elected, muslim are afraid to wear hijab, people of colour are afraid to step outside, people who voted Trump thinks that now is ok to hate against everyone, wtf??just because during this 18 months he said whatever he wanted put so much hate and fear out, and nobody stopped him, where are the morals, and basic human rights??

I understand what you are saying but as with most politicians they say they are going to do this and that but they never do. The comparisons he has drawn to Hitler are alarming, I agree, but I have hope that Congress wouldn't allow him to pass any bills that truly discriminated against people or put them in danger. He might say he wants to do this and that but it's unlikely it'll actually get done. I wouldn't worry just yet.

I'm absolutely horrified that Donald Trump is the President-Elect and I truly am ashamed to be an American today. Hillary Clinton was one of the, if not the most, qualified candidates for President ever. From First Lady, to New York Senator to Secretary of State, she had well over 30 years of political experience. She's devoted her life to helping women and children and I truly believe she was in this because she wanted progressive change to help America. The fact that someone as racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic etc. as Donald can become President speaks volumes for the US. He's called Mexican's rapists, women slobs and pigs, has bragged about sexually assaulting women (with 13 women stepping up saying they were assaulted by him) among so much else. On top of this, he is one of the most unqualified candidates ever never having held public office. The fact that he has the power to appoint the next Supreme Court Justice (and possibly 3 more during his term) leaves me badly shaken. He has the power to get abortion and the gay marriage ruling overturned. His running mate, Mike Pence, is also a huge bigot. Pence supports taking funding away from HIV/AIDS organizations to go towards conversion therapy for the LGBT community which is a barbaric idea. Donald would repeal ObamaCare leaving 20 million without healthcare and he believes global warming is a myth created by the Chinese when it's a real threat. All minorities are in deep trouble now and we'll be lucky if he doesn't mess up everything Barack Obama has fixed up. The fact that a reality TV star was elected as President just proves to the rest of the world how much of a joke the country is. I mean, his campaign staff took his Twitter privileges away for this past week. If he can't be trusted with Twitter, what makes people think he can be trusted with nuclear codes? The United States really failed as a nation today. Also, just to note: Hillary won the popular vote. The people chose her. Donald only won the electoral college which is why he will be President. It's sadly ironic that the system he was complaining was rigged chose him while the people of the United States chose Hillary. Now instead of real progression with Hillary we're taking a step back 100 years with Donald. I loved this comment. I always loved Hillary Clinton. And I know a lot of people don't agree with me, but I always felt very inspired by her and her career. When I thought that she was going to be the first female president of, probably, the most influential country of the world, I was very proud. Unfortunatly that didn't happen. I stayed up all night watching the results of the election and when I realised that Trump won, I could not believe and not only because hillary lost but because that man represents everything I despise. The whole world is disapointed about this election (exept maybe Rússia) because this Donald threw away years of history and values that we were starting to evolve. The worst thing is that the fact that Trump won means that a lot of people identify with him.
