The Staff will definitely be keeping eye on this thread, please of course keep it Civil like it is now. If you want to discuss opposite views try and do it nicely, thanks!
How ya feeling UK people? In out? Shake it all about? Couldn't care less and can't wait til we all stop going on about it so we can get back to the real issues like how soon is "soon" and what colour will queen lavignes hair be next?

I'm voting in, the leave campaign haven't given any decent arguments for leaving in my opinion. I'm working as a poll clerk so I can't wait for it to be over too

I'm leaning towards "in", though there are some compelling reasons for "out".
The only thing I'm confident about is that Brexit won't make a bit of difference to the illegal immigration issue. I mean if someone is prepared to ride the undercarriage of a moving truck to get here, then I don't know what we CAN do to stop it. This is assuming it's as much of an issue as they say it is, idk.
Whatever I vote for, I doubt if there's going to be civil war and famine on my doorstep the next morning. Sainsbury's will still be open at 7, Top Gear will still be on the telly, the weather will still be shite.

I'm currently living in the UK and I'm happy when you guys had your voting and people can talk about other topics...
I hope the UK votes for IN, because I believe in the system and the idea of the EU - even though there are many problems, but still I think we are stronger together.

I'll be voting to remain in the EU.
I think that the leave arguments are quite weak, and that the pros of remaining in the EU far outweigh the cons. I don't buy the leave campaign's immigration arguments, and it makes sense to remain when you consider factors such as security, workers rights, climate change, working together to create change etc.
I'm looking forward to this whole referendum being over and done with tbh - the campaigning has been quite distasteful and has caused more division than anything else, but I do think that it has generated a lot of interest in politics which is good.

Can't vote but I don't see why there is any point in leaving tbh.

I will be voting out for many reasons - not all of which I will list here. I don't think the EU is very democratic, we don't know these people, we cannot remove them and we never elected them; Europe's economy is also a mess - from Bailout funds to regulation and protectionism. I also don't think it will be the end of the world if we Brexit- I think we should focus on the rest of the world as well as Europe; nor do I feel Brexit is us saying goodbye to Europe... more us looking outward while maintaining trade with Europe, but not being Governed by them, which is why people are voting Brexit- they want to be Governed by the British Government only- who they voted for. The fact that we need to unite together is well known, but when we joined the EU it was for trade only; not to be a Political Union. If the EU stayed as Trade only, I doubt we'd be having this Referendum tomorrow. Sure- our system in the UK could be argued as not very democratic, but at least here you can remove them after a period of time if you're not happy with them. Having said this - I am very disappointed with both sides of the debate, the Campaigns I feel have just mainly been scaremongering by both sides rather than inflaming passion within voters, and to give them convincing reasons why they should vote that way. Whatever your view is, make sure to get out there and make that vote count! It is a vote of a lifetime and you really don't want to miss out on influencing this important decision

I'm staying up to watch the results come through. I know it is still very early days as only 5/382 have been declared at the moment but already it's looking like a tighter race than I was expecting. Obviously it's still far too early to call, but I have a feeling it'll be quite a nail-biter.

It really is close, I honestly can't call it. Also, who knew Lindsay Lohan was so interested in UK politics? She's been live tweeting the whole thing unless she's been hacked.

This is mad. I massively support leave but never in a million years did I think it'd be as close as this.
Haha oh Lindsay!! She's cracking me up

I wonder which other countries will have their own referendum because of this? I've heard Germany are wanting their own - if they were to leave, that would pretty much be the end of the EU because they seem to play a major part of it Looking back a couple of years, it's weird that Scotland didn't vote to leave the UK when our political opinions are so clearly divided, I wonder when Sturgeon will get the next referendum scheduled for? 2015 general election results: 2016 - EU referendum results: "Hey Scotland, you can't leave the UK because you're just a small country who can't survive on your own" - 2 years later "Hey Scotland, now that we've persuaded you that you're just a little country who couldn't survive out in the big bad world, we're dragging you out into the big bad world"
