For some odd reason, even though at first I heavily disliked it, I always get goosebumps now everytime I hear "Alice". It brings soo many memories and every time she sings "I found myself in wonderland..." - from that part onwards - I get goosebumps.

I love the part in the bridge where she sings "Get back on my feet again" and "Is it pretend?"

I love the part in the bridge where she sings "Get back on my feet again" and "Is it pretend?" Me too. This part is my favorite part of the whole song. I absolutely love how her voice becomes lower when singing those lyrics.

I love Alice though, it sounds so haunting and enthralling, her amazing voice always beautiful.

I absolutely love how her voice becomes lower when singing those lyrics. I love her head voice on "again." Too bad they didn't do something about the "screaming" on the chorus though, otherwise it could have easily been one of her best songs, vocally.

Alice, to this day, is still definitely one of my absolute favorites. The studio version is a bit screechy but then she did this performance and like, I was absolutely blown away by her live vocals. It was definitely one of her best performances imo.

^ Yes, even though I suspect that performance was edited a bit, that is one of my favorite live performances from her ever.

I don't think that it was edited also she sings without autotune and without playback. Sometimes when she records a live performance in a studio setting like this they will tweak the audio before releasing it. They've definitely done it with her AOL Sessions and Walmart Soundcheck performances. The only live performances that can never be edited are the ones that are truly live, like on TV, and she noticeably doesn't sound as good on those as ones that are taped in advance.

Also you can get microphones with built in auto tune so that it can correct pitch even during a live performance. I highly doubt Avril uses it, but I'm just saying it doesn't always have to be obvious when a performance has been edited or lip synced.

I've been binge listening to Avril lately so I have a little list lol, 1.The yeah-yeahs in I'm with you. 2.near the end of Goodbye when her voice breaks and sounds so vulnerable. 3. The whole song of Slipped Away, it is really hard for me to listen to that one. Reminds me of my Pap Pap and I sang it at his funeral. but in a werid way the song gives me closure 4. When Avril sings "It's so beautiful it makes you wanna cry" in Innocence near the end with such power gives me the goosebumps. 5. The bridge of How Does It Feel "would you comfort me" she sings it so beautifully. I love the message of the song. 6. In Hello Heartache her voice is so amazing I love how she sings"it was more than worth it, but not too sensible" she has like a character type voice throughout the song and I really dig it! 7. The bridge of Push with Evan. Gets me every time.
