Taylor made an important announcement on her Tumbrl, I saw it on ATRL: taylorswift.tumblr.com/post/115942142045/just-so-you-knowMy mother had breast cancer twice (she had her bad moments but she recovered well) and it's not a pleasant thing to go through as a close relative. I hope her mother can defeat it and recover without problems, my best wishes to her and all her family. |

All discussion about Taylor Swift goes here. What do you think about 1989? Her new video for Style? I personally love 1989 and think it's her best album yet. I didn't really like the video for Style, in my head I imagined something totally different, like Taylor driving in a convertible down the highway in California and they could have used a vintage filter. That's kind of how I pictured it, so I didn't like what they actually did it with at all. I remember how "critical" you have been before the album came out - I knew you would change your mind  I didnt buy the album and only listened to Style, Welcome to New York, Blank Space, Out of the woods and Shake it off - and I like them all  I'm thinking about buying the album, but I actually like to stream the music which isnt possible with Taylor since she left spotify :/ |

I really didn't expect to like the album and I was pleasantly surprised. I think it's a very solid album, from start to finish. There's not one bad song on it. I would go as far as to say I think it is her best album so far and I've seen many other reviews that say the same. You may not believe it, but I think it's really true. I would suggest either previewing all the tracks on iTunes if you can, or if not just buy the whole album. I think it's totally worth the money, I found myself listening to it every day for a few weeks. This is coming from someone who wasn't impressed with the early tracks we heard.  |

The freaking copyright reasons - I feel like it's the worst in Germany. But back to the album - I think that it's worth buying too. I mean, no one needs to be as crazy as me, running from store to store to get the deluxe version. If you buy it from amazon mp3 or iTunes it's cheaper than the physical CD, so you could think about it. |

We obviously don't know the specifics about Taylor's mom's condition, but it sounds like they may have caught this early (but I could be wrong since she didn't give details). I've had a few family members with different cancers, mainly breast, that we're thankful caught early enough to do surgery. My grandmother did the radiation therapy and all of them turned out fine. Cancer is most dangerous if you don't know you have it until it's already in much further stages. I think and hope her mom will be ok. Taylor is such a nice and sweet person, I feel horrible that something like this has happened to her family. |
