True that! Occasionally I like to make a real big breakfast with orange juice, croissants, eggs and a lot of delicious sandwiches but that's maybe twice a year, on Christmas day when I don't have to work or Eastern when I don't have to work Last thing I ate now was a plant based yoghurt with unsalted nuts and raisins. Almost lunchtime tho and that will be 2 tangerines and 2 sandwiches, 1 with chicken filet and 1 with hazalnut spread. Sounds yummy, Jinkxx. I don't eat much in the mornings. Usually something light like a muffin and coffee. I love yogurt. I eat it for a snack or a light lunch. I love the strawberry and blueberry flavors. I don't use plain yogurt unless I'm cooking with it. I like banana flavor, too. And vanilla.

The night before last, I had a pretty big dinner. So, I wasn't hungry again, until dinner time last night. I had barbecued baby back ribs and coleslaw. This morning I've had my coffee. I rarely eat before noon. That used to drive my fitness freak daughter crazy. So, I finally told her "Okay, okay. Get off my back. I'll start eating breakfast. But, I'm not going to eat it before noon. And, I'm going to call it lunch." The aforementioned fitness freak. Total badass.

I made courgette fries (coasted in breadcrumbs/italian herbs/parmesan) with a chilli mayo dip for lunch. Now I have a beef and red wine stew in the slow cooker for dinner. Mmmm.

I ate vanilla non diary (plantbased) yoghurt with a banana and a cup of coffee.

For dinner I had some homemade bolognese sauce with pasta and cheese on top. This is pretty much a staple of my diet. Dolmio sauce with added: browned mince, onions fried in the oil of the mince, mushrooms fried in butter and two grated carrots put in the oven for an hour and baked. Been told by the doctor that I have to reduce my cholesterol levels in my blood. Still putting on weight. Eat, shit and die...

1 ‘oliebol’. It’s a sort of deep-fried raisin bun. We eat those usually on New Year’s Eve. I bought 2 so tomorrow I have one more.

Last thing I ate was again the vanilla plant based yoghurt with unsalted nuts I think part of the problem is that the medication I take for my mental illness makes me put on weight so I might try just not taking it for a while. Anyway, I am eating too much crap like: fried food, sugar, biscuits, cakes, fizzy drinks, crisps, processed foods, etc... I'm not exactly sure but I am trying to improve my diet. Maybe alcohol isn't helping either. Thanks for asking!

You mentioned your diet and maybe that's a good thing to work on. If the medication increases your diet you could try eating veggies and light snacks and see if that helps? I'm just concerned because medications are tough for some people and they can have side effects, but just going off them is also a risk. Maybe you could ask your doctor to help and decrease them for you? Just trying to help. It's up to you. Merry Christmas to you.
