I donβt think she doesnβt care, I just think she doesnβt know how to interact with fans. When she first came on the scene there was no social media connections with fans so popstars and fans had quite a large distance between them in terms of communication, too which most communication was controlled by management. The stars of today are almost expected to be on social media all the time (look at 1D where most of their success was due to Twitter and Ariana Grande coz of Instagram) so as Avril never had this pressure to start with she probably doesnβt feel it now.
Also I think bad marketing teams behind her are to blame, with the twitter hashtag she should have reponded with something like βDonβt worry guys, 2018 will be great!β which would have created more of a Twitter Frenzie / even made headlines... bit of a missed opportunity.

Can someone PM some emails/accounts? I can try communicating them as well. At least we can try, it won't hurt even if they ignore us. The more the better. Also, they may not answer to emails/complaints or they can ignore us, fine, but they will definitely get the general, negative vibe

At this time "label controlling" and "doesn't know how to interact with her fans" is not an excuse. I doubt her label refuses her to tweet "Thank you guys, you are so awesome, can't wait to hear my new music!" or a simple thanks. Her fans just made a worldwide trend and even she saw it she doesn't give a damn about it.

Her fans just made a worldwide trend and even she saw it she doesn't give a damn about it. Even if she did that everyone would start attacking her because her cannot give information. Whatever she does she raises a ruckus because some people are never, never satisfied. What she could write, she did. Would change something if she continues to write every week: "Thanks guys, I can not wait to share the new music with you !!!"? It would be really pathetic for her and for us. This isn't done by any artist. This isn't to excuse her, in my opinion it is the situation that must necessarily go that way. She works and we wait, the record company plans and we wait, she announces the dates and we end up waiting. There is no scope for action and we cannot do anything. In my opinion, the situation isn't desperate because: 1. BMG Italy has confirmed since October 2017 that the release of the album has already been set for this year; 2. Avril has finished or is finishing the record; 3. In the live of Facebook Avril has anticipated a lot. I challenge anyone to tell me which artist, before a record release, talks so much about his project; 3. There are already many songs officially registred. Even if they were scraps, it always means that something is about to be published. 5. In my opinion she communicated well during her work session and made us understand many things; 6. The new year has just begun. If we didn't know anything, if she had totally disappeared, if we didn't know the album is in production, if the record company had not minimanente supported her etc, I could understand the urgency and the protest. But it doesn't seem to me that way: it's a matter of a few months. Then everyone interprets all this as he prefers. It was obvious that BMG wanted to schedule Avril's record releases by the end of the last year. Evidently something went wrong. And if I'm not mistaken, many of those that are complaining now, in November thought that she would have to wait until 2018 to publish something for not to be obscured by more awaited records. After the closure of the production work in the studio, two or three months of programming and silence always precede the realese of the lead single. Avril has been totally absent from the media scene for a long time, and her return must be programmed very well and intelligently. Rather than launch the single and wait 8/12 months for the release of the album because it still needs to be finished I prefer to wait.

Rather than launch the single and wait 8/12 months for the release of the album because it still needs to be finished I prefer to wait. You know I love you, bit I have some doubts 1. But also BMG confirmed the album for 2017, so we can always doubt in this conformations. But I do agree. AL6 will be release in this year that is for sure. 2. Finished, and has been finishing is 2 things, because if she is still working on it, it means like +4-5 months for us unfortunately, because the whole marketing plan is slipping with the work. 3. But like how many new song titles are registered in thse sites? 4-5? And where are the other ones? 5 song will not make an album, and if we are counting on scraps, the situation is not that good. 4. We cannot count in what she mentioned or said during the FB chat since it is taken down. Like it never happened. And where is the other one? 6. Yes, it is just begun and we know he exact same thing we knew while we were waiting in 2017. And 2018 can mean also like deceber of 2018, and it would be another wasted year again. Tbh, I am not that hyped anymore, I mean I have to work, have a life etc, and I rather support her to be in total silence than posting annyoing mic pictures from the studio. I'm fine if she will be silence for 1 months if in the next post we will get some confirmed hint or date. I'm waiting for her to post something like "Next week..." so we can know for sure she will announce something. I also fine with waiting. I just hate that I don't know how much I have to wait. Like if she or BMG would say "guys, you have to wait around June for the album" I would be OK. Because I know how much I have to wait.

I mean obviously they donβt KNOW how much longer itβs going to be, or else they would have announced it and set a pre-order date. Itβs not like they know all this info and are hiding it from fans to be dicks.

The only thing that made me sad was that fuckin microphone pic, but yes, what you said it's barely what I've been saying for a while.

Itβs not like they know all this info and are hiding it from fans to be dicks. It's not compulsory to say a pre-order date. Pre-orders are usually announced few days before they're released. Kylie Minogue has recently announced the lead to be released this friday but the album is planned for some time in spring. At this point they must know when the lead is going to be release, but if it's released in February or March, they obviously are not gonna say it now. Nobody announces a single date 1-2 months in advance.

I love you too Erik and you know that I understand all your doubts and the insistence of many fans. But I think it's a matter of time: if, hypothetically, we arrive in April/May without knowing anything about the release, then yes, we should be very alarmed. For now I think we can stay calm until February/March. We don't have certainties, but we can interpret with relative trust (and it does not mean unrealistic optimism, or justifying attitude) all that happened until now and the signals we received before this period of silence, for the reasons that reminded others after me. BMG wants to publish this record. We are not dealing with terrible cases of 10-year references (and there are so many. For example, Fergie managed to publish quickly after 10 years thanks to the intervention of BMG). We also know that Avril is followed by Walk, one who knows to launch singles of great success. So rather than desperately despairing among ourselves, I think we should support each other, also reminding us of the positive aspects of this affair. We have two possibilities right now: either to despair and to interpret everything in a catastrophic way, getting angry and poisoning, or distracting ourselves, dedicating ourselves to something else, being a little confident and telling us that the worst is over and not long we'll know something

She doesn't care about fans? then what's the Facebook live for? How many times we discovered her response to the discussion content from here ? I know we all are kind of mad at this point but does it have to come this far? To be very clear and honest, I see her doesn't enjoy this career as much as used to, mainly because this really affects her personal life. However, she continues. She has mentioned several times about still able to make music for fans. I mean, she doesn't need to make physical copies and just release digitally
