I imagine the new single as a kind of Cranberries meets Alanis Morissettetteteeteeetettte meets Stevie Nicks. Kind of dreamy, with acoustic arrangements, but powerful. Maybe with strings and high notes. Kind of like Everybody Hurts instrumentally but more epic. Idk. What do you guys think it will sound like? 👀 I think it will something like Miley’s Wrecking Ball. A power ballad with high instrumental, epic chorus and high notes. But if it’s a ballad (tht it seems so) we are safe, Avril is unique creating ballads. So she’s rehearsing... things are definitely coming so so soon. Yes, she is! And in my opinion, most of her growth as an artist is reflected on each album’s ballads — the vocals, the songwriting skills (which becomes questionable when she tries to be “fun”, but let’s not discuss that here), the passion... She has something special, and it’s not just charisma, uniqueness or nerve, it’s also talent. She’s the whole package. |

So there's live promo lined-up. Great. She wouldn't rehearse now for her Asia-only (  ) tour next year. I really want to know how she will handle the lead single vocally and how she will sing her old singles. I'm overall excited for the new era, new songs, new performamces, new looks, new interviews, her being on the charts. Bring it on Ramona. |

I can’t with the level that people analyze every word she says. You don’t have to take everything she says so damn literally. She said a single will be out in 2-3 weeks and that she couldn’t wait for September. That doesn’t mean on September 1st she’s going to release something. She said she is rehearsing this/next week, it means within the next week she is in rehearsals. Like why analyze every stupid thing she says? It’s not that deep. All we need to care about is that stuff is happening, the video has been shot and edited, and it’s pretty much confirmed we will get the video and single this month. It won’t be long until we know more details. Like... just calm the fuck down. I know we are excited and have been waiting so long but analyzing her tweets and splitting hairs over specifics is just agonizing. Then you all end up disappointed when nothing happens on these fabricated dates you made up out of nothing. It’ll come when it comes. She is rehearsing which means likely a TV performance is coming up. We know the single will be out this month. Just wait to see if she posts any further updates. Like there isn’t any need to analyze everything she says to death.
