Which era had the best vocals/ performances?

I always thought she sounded a ton better in acoustic performances, probably because her voice wasn't trying to compete with a full band. I feel like that was part of the issue in LG era. She wasn't used to performing with a full band and I think she struggled to be heard, thus blowing her voice out.

She tended to go flat sometimes. She wasn't horrifically out of tune like Taylor Swift was in her early career for example, but she wasn't pitch perfect either. If you listen for it, you'll hear moments where she goes flat.

I think part of her problem in LG era was that she wasn't used to how stressful touring was. She didn't really take proper care of herself, health wise. She was always drinking and eating a lot of sugar. Traveling all over the world, sharing a bus with 4 other people. They all got sick pretty often, from what I remember. She wasn't used to being on the road, traveling to different places where you are more prone to get sick. The food was different than what she was used to, she even said in some places she didn't eat because it was too gross, and she lost weight. By the time she did her next tour, her habits changed completely. She had her own bus and she ate a lot better and did yoga before the shows. She continued that in her later tours, eating a vegan diet when on the road, warming up for 45 minutes before shows, etc.
