Well I like it a lot actually. The lyrics doesn't make sense and usually I wanna feel the song and meanin of it but this is just an Avril song with no meaning and a very different sound. I listen more likely to Hello Kitty then to EBBY, YASNY, SOS for example  That's really the truth.. xD I must say at first listen I was shocked tho  |

I used to like this enough to tolerate listening to it but the other day it came on my shuffle and I realized how bad it actually is. My boyfriend was like “This is bad. Like REALLY bad.” Yeah, objectively speaking, when you hear it back to back with some of her other songs, it’s fucking terrible. Like the production, her vocals, lyrics, everything about it is just plain bad. Especially for an EDM song, it really wasn’t done well at all lol

I like the song and even though it’s a different sound from earlier songs it’s one of a kind. It’s not like the whole AL album is hello kitty, so I think we should just enjoy this little unique song and move on.

I've always really liked Hello Kitty despite popular opinion. It's a fun and upbeat song with a colorful and entertaining video. It's not my favorite song from Avril, but it's definitely above some other songs on Avril Lavigne. I'd say my opinion hasn't changed much from when I posted this. I appreciate the song for what it is, being a fun, upbeat song targeted towards Avril's Japanese fans. When I'm in the mood for a silly party song, Hello Kitty does the trick. I also still love the video, as I love the vibrant colors and camp style. |

If i'm in a VERY good mood and it comes on in the car i'll sing along cos it's just hilarious. but 99.9% of the time no, it's an awful song and the innuendos mixed with a kids character is just rather creepy
