Cliff Fabri: old videos and Can't Stop Thinking About You

It's especially terrible because he's saying these things about a 15 year old girl. A 15 year old who is now over 30. This isn't normal or healthy.

My guess is that he couldn't say anything in the beginning of her career because they had a contract that he was to never say anything about her (and probably she of him as well). Perhaps it expired and that's why he's now revealing all this info.

I don't know what he means by "the Lavignes wanted to get rid of her" but it's presumably referring to how she and her mom weren't getting along at the time. However, to put it in those words is very harsh. I'm sure that even if Avril was a terror back then and her mom didn't know what to do with her, that she still loved her very much. Saying they "wanted to get rid of her" sounds horrible.

I'm not saying that it happens to everybody but it very well could have, especially if she really did or try to steal a car. That is already going down a very bad path. Most of the stuff she did like drinking beer on a class trip when she was only a few years away from the legal age anyway or talking in class, skateboarding down the hallway, etc. is pretty dumb and mostly harmless, yes. But when you start fooling with the law like stealing personal property (if that actually did happen), it's not cute anymore. At this point when you are in high school you need to start thinking about what you're gonna do with your life, go to college, get a job, etc. Grow up. Stealing cars and such is not amusing at that age, it's sad. It seemed like she didn't have a lot of direction at that point in her life, she was not interested in school. It's a good thing that the music career worked out for her since that's what she really wanted to do. And I know she would say that if she wasn't a singer, ironically she'd want to be a police officer or something like that, so yeah presumably she would have probably done something else with her life. I'm not saying she would have ended up in jail. But it seems like the music career finally gave her a purpose in life and forced her to kind of grow up. 

I don't think it's relevant to pin any kind of acoholc or addict status onto her, but the excuse of "she never did drugs cause she never told us!" reasoning is somewhat laughable.

This guy has obvious issues, but his overwhelming insistence of being wronged is somewhat notable and should be taken with as many grains of salt as we all feel personally necessary,
