Yeah, I was really surprised that GYWYL only featured in the beginning of the movie, not even the credits or during. The song could have been played more in the movie.

I didn't watch it. It's just like every other Lifetime movie ever made. I used to be a sucker for Lifetime movies, but this one didn't peak my interest to watch. I was only interested in seeing Avril's music video.

It's supposed to be "based on a true story". A minor point, but I prefer it when movies are billed as being "Inspired by true events", or words to that effect. It's a more honest way of saying "Stuff we made up". I mean, The Conjuring was "Based on a true story" according to the blurb at the beginning. Go figure.

Haven't watched it, not EVER going to watch it...the premise is so tried and lame I could barely get through the trailer....
It's truly unfortunate that a classic beautiful song like GYWYL (with flawless AL vocals) is now forever tied to this...this...I don't even know what to call it...Made for TV movie I guess....*sigh*
The video was an attempt of Avril to give back to the fans and she filmed it at her house...however all the parts of the movie in the video ruined it for me...not to mentioned the fact she was only filmed from the neck up...what was that about....not because she was not feeling well, surely.....a little movement would have added some dynamics I guess..idk...
I get what she was trying to do and I'm glad she got to release the song for us but the video was kinda unnecessary for me...

I didn't watch it and I will not. These kind of films seem always pretty dull to me, they are generally based on cliches like the girl who works as a babysitter always falls in love with child's hot father then she gets heartbroken in the end etc. Maybe my comment is little bit harsh but these films are nothing but waste of time.

The GYWYL video was more than enough for me. The acting skills of all the three actresses make Avril look like Meryl Streep in Out Of Africa and the plot is nothing new.

The highlight of the movie is hearing GYWYL. Unfortunately, that is how the movie starts. It's downhill from there. This movie is just another example of the entertainment industry using sexuality to attract an audience while pretending to convey a socially relevant message. Is there a teenager alive that doesn't know prostitution is at best, risky? Is there anyone that needs Hollywood to tell them that? It's not a terrible movie but, it's not very realistic. It's supposed to be "based on a true story". In the movie, the main female character services a married man in exchange for his promise to pay her college tuition. In the real life story this movie is supposed to be based on, a teenage girl was found guilty of having sex with a married man for $20 and a bottle of booze. The formula for this movie has been used many times before with more entertaining results. I guess I'm just tired of them using sex to try to sell me everything from beer to toothpaste. There are a bunch of things I can't understand in that sentence: 1)Why was the girl found guilty? I have heard that adultery is illegal in some states within the USA, but even in that case, the one to be found guilty would be the married part, doesn't it? Or is that she was found guilty because of having sex? I thought that consented sex was not a crime unless one of the parts was underage- in which case I guess it can be considered statuary rape-is that the term? I think I've heard in some movie - but, again, the "raper" is the older part...so what was the girl's crime? 2) Seriously? I mean...20 dollars and a bottle of booze...

In this case, the charge against the male was a lot more serious. He was charged with statutory rape. The age of consent varies from state to state. When an adult has sex with a minor child below the age of consent, they can go to prison for a long time. 2) Yes. It's true. I once had a very young, very pretty girl offer her services for a bottle of wine. However, I wasn't old enough to buy alcohol and the transaction was never completed. Needless to say, this was a very long time ago.

About the second...well, I can't but feel pity about the girl. God knows she had to be desperate.

This movie looks messy, with a weird plot indeed. So I won't watch it honestly.

I don't have any intentions of watching the movie, and anyway after watching the GYWYL music video it feels like I've seen the whole thing.
