Has anyone been on gurl.com when it was alive? I really liked that one! I've heard about that site but didn't get a chance to be around it much. Kind of a shame because that could be one of my favorite sites because I'm into girly tips/girly sites and stuff like that. Did you know that it was originally called gurlpages.com in the 90's and you can use that site to make webpages and even have your own email (such as yourname@gurlmail.com)?! That sounds so cool, I wish I was around to experience that. I usually just look around on the old site using Wayback Machine (http://web.archive.org).

People find it easier to go on Quora or reddit if they want to discuss something and Facebook fan pages have all the information they need.
