I still can't believe I was there. I went to her first concert ever in Brazil. It was in my hometown, Porto Alegre. I was only 11. That's only time I saw Avril live and now I'm hoping to see her in my country during the Head Above Water Tour.

I loved this show. I remember that the only available video of this concert was Losing Grip performance. I was very happy when the full footage of this concert was leaked. |

So cool you were there! Oh, everything about Bonez Tour in Brazil is so special! The vocals, her attitude on stage, her looks. I'm sure I saw her live at her best time in every possible way. It was hard for me to get to the show. The ticket was a little expensive and there was no adult to accompany me at the time (as I said, I was only 11). My cousin ten years older than me had just returned from an exchange in Australia. He knew I was an Avril fan, so he was always telling me how popular she was in Australia and how many Under My Skin non-single songs were played on the radio there. My mom managed to convince him to take me to the concert. I remember that the Avril concert was one of the most discussed subjects among the young people in my city. Everyone was excited and eager to see her live. At that time, Avrilmania had already taken over Brazil, especially because of MTV. Under My Skin were as successful as Let Go here in my country. I believe that these first 3 years of extreme popularity are the reason why Brazil is still one of her biggest fan bases. The funniest part of the story is that I watched the show from the last row of the stands, through binoculars. I wish I could live that day again. |

^ Wtf that interview was so weird and awkward and she looked really uncomfortable lmao And yeah it was so creepy how he asked how old she was before commenting that she's cute, like he wanted to make sure she was of legal age before saying that ugh so gross and creepy, no wonder why she wouldn't look at him at all during the interview!
