Back in 2003 I bought this foreign magazine called Bravo. There was an article about Avril (I think there was an interview too). There were photos of her wearing her three-coloured Sum 41 wristband, a pair of brown trousers, a dark blue shirt that had two dogs and "stussy" printed on and no tie. I think she was attending an event in Spain or France (Let Go promo, perhaps) . It must have taken place in 2002-2003 because she had this blond highlight or hair streak. I haven't found these photos anywhere and unfortunately, I threw all this stuff away when I moved out a few years ago.  Does it ring any bell?
*PS: I have found a video of her performing with outfit I have just mentioned (except for the wristband):
Can anyone tell me where this is from and if there are any photos before or after the gig?

Ugh that whole thing was so uncomfortable, for everyone involved lol The fan looked so uncomfortable and weirded out. They could have chosen a completely different “dare” for Avril that didn’t involve kissing anyone. Just goes to show how the times have changed because I don’t think this would be done today.

This's interesting. I just learn how she treats album as individually alone. It also explains why TBDT and Girlfriend happened. I'm surprised that she thought Let Go was too pop for her but wasn't hip-hop was more pop back to early 2000? But what? Didn't Avril always mention how L.A. Reid gave her style freedom? Now she said she finally able to find whoever she wanted to work with. Btw, is there any interview about that how she made My Happy Ending ? |

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but I found it today. It's a partial interview with Howard Stern. She sounded really good. This is 2013.
It's also acoustic and in the original key, so the new Yungblud performance is not the first one.
