So... I don't know where to post this or talk about it. But I kinda made a logo for the HAW era LOL xD Since the album came out I was trying to figure out what logo could work since we don't have an official one. We've talked about it here and some of you said the best option was a wave or something like that. So I took the album's name literally and made Avril's head above water LOL. This is a PNG file. I made a silhouette out of one of Avril's pictures and then just waves xD i know it's "simple" but idk...logos usually are simple xD So i just wanted to share it with you and see what you guys think. I also made an edit to show how could acuatlly be displayed on the screen (i made the PC version) If you guys like it, maybe we could use it, and if not, maybe its's a starting point (??) to create a better one? idk D: Download AttachmentVersion 1 Version 2 Download Attachment Download AttachmentI like it! Mine is white and blue and I can't seem to find the place to change it, but I'd really love to -- I find it so much easier on the eyes when it's dark. Thank you!  And oh, it's a google extension i downloaded. It basically turn every page on google chrome to dark mode. And yeah, that's why I did it, i work on the computer a lot and everything being white and bright it's hella annyoing xD The extensions it's called "Dark reader" and it has a darth vader as the logo xD by the way, just discovered it yesterday that you can change the theme of bandaids. On edit profile and then settings. I have the under my skin theme 😊 |

I like the logo but I don’t think it’s very “Avril” like the other logos are. I feel like maybe a Gothic looking cross might suit the era better since she wore one in the HAW music video and it was largely used in the imagery for IFILWTD as well. I feel like it’s also more her style.

Avril should do something like this for IWIM mixed with scenes from IWY. Or to any song for the 20th anniversary of LG. This is really cool and unique. Made me remember how much I listened to this song 10 years ago! Oh my. Look how much fun she's having. She sounds amazing.

I had no idea there even was one. here on the website it's that little cute skull which is literally on the back of the booklet in one corner, smaller than my hope for future lol xD i don't know how it was chose here cause i wasn't here back then, but i guess a green star or a black star would have been more fitting (?) idk xd Edit: and what's a mystery for me it's the AL symbol xD it look familiar but maybe it's because i saw it here |

There is no official logo for GL, but we chose the cutesy skull since it appears on the side of her piano on the album artwork. In other parts of the era, she used a black star with a green border (like on the drum kit for the tour and CD inlay).
AL didn’t have an official logo either but the half skull half heart was used on some of the tour merch.

Not gonna lie, her best logo is the TBDT one, it's elaborated, it fits the era perfectly and it's unique. UMS was my favorite but I gotta admit that the TBDT logo is just iconic. 2007 was definitely her year.
I kinda wish she would've kept the tradition to make a specific logo for each era. I hope someone asks her to do it in the next Q&A (expected to happen in 2025) and now that she's going back to pop-rock it's the perfect chance to do it. (unless she changes the era direction again and maybe we will get elctro-disco avril: Ramona Vandella)

I wouldn’t want it to feel like a forced thing. A lot of artists have little things they do with each album (like how Taylor used to put secret messages in the liner notes of her first 5 albums) but they eventually stop doing them. |

Ok, so Push came randomly on my spotify songs and it got me thinking. Ever wondered why Evan is featured in the song? Like...he could've been featured in ANY song from GL, even the ones he was part of like Not enough or Everybody hurts.
Push is clearly a love song and the "you and I, we can both start over" could be about Deryck, but i just don't get why Evan is featured in the song, seriously. If, (let's say) Deryck was supposed to sing that part (because Avril said in the GL song commentary that song was already made for some time back then) and maybe he didn't want to sing it because it was too hurtful, IDK. (this is just speculation, obviously, i don't think that was what happened but i'm just saying to try to find an excuse to the "male feature" in the song)
But maybe, and JUST maybe, Evril happened at some point, or at least there were "feelings involved" like, idk, maybe he confessed to her and she rejected him. But he literally had Everybody hurts which is way better as a song to sing with a friend, right??. (at least, between those 2 songs). In fact, they played the song together several times in the BSTour. Why they didn't had that song together from the begining. Idk, maybe Gone and Complete me (both songs worked with Evan) were scrapped because of "personal lyrics" (?)
And also, when they decided to make a collaboration, Evan (probably him) chose to do Best Years of Our Lives. Why? I can understand that it was his most known song (and only inside his fandom) but they could've made a new one easily, they work together pretty well. But he chose that song, which I'm sure by that time he already knew that everyone on the internet thought the song was about Avril.
SO....IDK, it's just weird to me. What do you think?
(maybe this is for the Evan thread BUT...) and sorry for the conspiracy theories, but I'm jobless right now and I kinda like when the website is active lol xD
and yes, i used to be an Evril fanboy LOL, but not anymore xD i'm just curious and been watching Castle again so i'm all for mysteries and trying to solve them. Sorry, seriously xD

I don't think it's that deep. I'm an Evril shipper myself but I don't think they ever dated or will date, especially because they both have partners right now (at least I'm pretty sure Evan does but I don't know) and don't seem to be close anymore. Maybe in the beginning when he was in Avril's band, she might have had a crush on him but she ended up dating Jesse so I think they were only ever friends.
He wrote the song with her and maybe she thought it'd make sense to turn it into a duet and have him sing those parts since he helped write the song. Having Deryck sing on any of the songs would have been really cheesy and also not made any sense since they were divorcing. What I really want to know is why Evan is uncredited on the song, like it doesn't say "featuring Evan Taubenfeld" anywhere. Unless maybe he was with a label at the time and couldn't be credited, which sometimes happens.
