Victor Frankenstein Very different to the original Frankenstein story but retains a lot of the philosophy. I enjoyed it.

Jennifer's Body
I've been meaning to watch the film for a long time and I finally got around to it. The music selection was awesome and I really liked the writing overall as many different and interesting concepts were explored. I'd rate the film a 7/10, so definitely something to watch if you have any free time!

I'm ill, so I've just been watching movies all day First, I re-watched Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. I actually think I enjoyed it more this time. I loved it when I first saw it in the cinema, but felt as though something was missing. I think my enjoyment of it the first time was too weighed down by my own expectations, but I appreciate it more for what it is now. Secondly, I watched A Monster Calls. I've read the book twice, and each time cried my eyes out. The movie made me do the same haha. I really liked the animated stories in it, and the boy who plays Connor is great. He's really convincing when dealing with such a difficult subject for someone so young. I think it does the book justice. Then I watched Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children. It was alright. I probably won't bother reading the book, the storyline doesn't do much for me. It's the kind of film that you think is okay, but wouldn't necessarily watch again. Lastly, I re-watched Sing Street. I adore this film. I really relate to a lot of Cosmos personal problems, and I love the relationship between him and his older brother. Plus it's really funny and the soundtrack is brilliant.
