The Lost Husband - Lame movie, I don't recommend anyone watching it xD I liked it a lot more than you did. I think it's at least average. I watched the trailer and decided to watch the whole thing. I wasn't disappointed. It wasn't great. It was very predictable. Re: Gran Torino. I liked it a lot.

Uncle Bob I guess since it was very predictable I didn’t like it much. I found it okay when she was at the market and saw her fake friends and O’Conner stood up for her. The Day The Earth Stood Still - liked it!

Primal - it was okay, I expected it to be more in the jungle but it was a ship the whole movie took place.

Watched an Indian movie with family which was trending at # 1 on Netflix, wasn’t exactly a family movie, it was all about sex😂 pretty average 3/5.

'Enola Holmes' on Netflix 7/10 Very high quality. Millie Bobby Brown is outstanding. While I liked it, I was hoping for a little more. I thought the plot and script were slightly weak.

I've yet to come around to watch it, lol. I also have a few movies downloaded in 2012 that I haven't yet watched, so I'm kind of having a backlog!

"The Last Airbender" (2010)
I watched the Nickelodeon show the movie was based on a couple months back and absolutely loved it. I'd heard the 2010 movie was bad, but I still wanted to form my own opinion of it, or at least watch it as a joke. But man... the movie was so bad, it wasn't even funny, it was just sad. I kinda wish I hadn't watched it at all. The only good thing I can say is that due to bad reception, it never got the sequels it was supposed to have, which means the creators of the movie didn't get the chance to butcher my favourite character from the TV show.

I caught Frozen on cable a few months ago now.. its a very Disneyish thing, cheesy, and I didn't really like the singing all that much, but I do value that they put a few rather interesting things in it - the main plot doesn't have a tired cliche of a romance story, only sibling love, and the protagonist has a really interesting thing going on with her magic powers, and how her emotional state can cause that power to hurt people, I think that was really an impactful element, educational too, in a way. As for pure visuals, they really should be thinking of how their portrayals might affect kids.. like, the girl characters sleep with makeup on, and they look ridiculously tiny compared to comically bulky guys, not to mention the ultra thin waists and extra big hips...

"The Devil Wears Prada" (2006) Kinda was in the mood for some light entertainment, so I thought "eh, why not?" However, despite the good production and Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Anne Hathaway all being great actresses, the movie didn't really convince me. To me, it's just another one of those countless comedy-drama movies targeted at girls / young women. You got your cheesy pop music, several montages, a make-over scene, the typical quirky / "I'm not like other girls" protagonist, and the super predictable plot. I'm not saying it's a bad movie, but this kind of genre just isn't my cup of tea. In fact, throughout the whole movie I was mostly just staring at the screen like "what is this? " lol.
